Angie the owner greeted us and was very helpful telling us of walks in the area. Food was excellent and the bar had a lovely friendly atmosphere. The poached eggs for breakfast were superb. A wonderful place to break our journey on the way to Scotland could have done with a longer stay.

The location was great - right in the middle of town with parking. The breakfast was good too. The staff were just the right side of friendly and very helpful too. I booked a single room which was a good size - although the pillows were hard! - with a comfy bed and a clean, well kept bathroom. All in all, would highly recommend. Could see that
