    Central location, the room was comfortable and clean, reception staff helpful. I would definitely use this hotel again. - Very welcoming and helpful staff. Terrific breakfasts. Great to have its own car park. What a lovely place Oxford is!

    They were very helpful. After I was there for three hours I discovered the toilet did not work. They moved me to another room immediately. Two days later the ceiling caved in during the night because of the water from the air conditioner.     The overall ambience of the hotel. Friendly staff. Clean, fresh room decoration. We also enjoyed the location with a bonus of a restaurant overlooking woodland. Close to Oxford/A34 and Park and Ride but far enough away fso that road noise and city life, does not intrude. - Very welcoming and attentive to guests requirements, my birthday was made... what people say » especially nice.     We booked into our standard room,which was well above standard. All was good until we found that the bathroom sink was blocked. The staff arranged for maintenance to come to the room. They were unable to fix the problem straight away, therefore the manager arrived and moved us immediately to a superior room with complimentary drinks. Although we w... what people say » ere slightly inconvenienced this did not impact our stay as reception staff were so attentive and polite. Will definitely stay again. - Absolutely loved this hotel! I booked the Malmaison mainly for the fact that it is a converted jail and that it was in a Lewis episode. It was a bit of a splurge & worth every penny! The bar was fantastic & both bartenders that we encountered were quite lovely! We were treated really well by both gentlemen. By far one of the best experiences I've had in a hotel in the uk. I would love to come back & spend more time.

    LOVE THIS HOTEL! Very new, clean, and well appointed. I HIGHLY recommend suite 12--great views, wonderful kitchenette, plus helpful instructions on use of TV and Wifi access. Nice kitchenette in the room also. Breakfast basket of muffins, cereal, breakfast bars, tea/coffee etc topped up daily. Very close to city centre (10-15 minute walk) and train station (15-20 minute walk). Friendly staff. Room had a feeling of privacy.

    The owners, Clive and Donna, were an absolute pleasure. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with some of the best customer service I have ever received. Genuinely nice people and will go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay possible! The accommodation was beautiful, very close to oxford yet tucked away in the countryside. Really very comfortable and the underfloor heating was a real winner after being out with frozen feet. The breakfast was cooked to a pre-arranged time and it was beautiful, quality ingredients. The bus stop in to Oxford was a 5 min walk with a regular service until quite late, ideal.
