It was quite close to the City centre, and also had good amenities close by. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and size of the rooms. Friendly and helpful staff clean and tidy hotel and room. Friendly staff, very efficient checkin and checkout. Just a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Convienient location....friendly staff....only downside was no restaurant....apart from that it was excellent.

Distance from bus stop into Oxford. Quite scary for women in dark/ late return. Relatively pricey for a one night bed and breakfast... £85. Some cong fusion about rooms, we asked for 2 non smoking and 1 smoking.The 2 non smoking close by as one guest was elderly lady. Initially wegot 2 soking and old lady 2 floors away. However the staff sorted it andwhile we were out moved us close to the elderly guest, incluing movinmgall our items. So despite an initail problem ,it was agood sdervice. i couldn't find the way to the hotel.....no information boards on the road. It was impossible to sleep, as our room was above the staff entrance, so they kept slamming the door and talking and then it got even nosier in the morning at 6.30 am - very annoying and ruined the stay!. We found the bed to be 'wobbly' - whenever one of us turned over, the whole bed shook. Poor breakfast, no restauronant in the hotel. Asked to pay room in advance and even when we payed the full amount in cash they also asked for deposit.The rooms have a very "clinical" feel, esp the toilets/bathrooms. If i had a guess I would say it used to be a hospital, which is fine but decor could be improved. I would only recommend this hotel to someone on a tight budget, otherwise i have seen better budget hotels. 1 sofa bed and 1 double bed for a family is not good enough, sofa bed for hotel is not a good offering for customer. Also the sofa bed and the TV was broken and not totally functioned during the stay.Location was further from city center than we had thought. We weren't happy to find huge flies flying around the room lights when we walked into the room. Took long time to set up Internet connection.No cooked breakfast. Room was not cleaned properly. overpriced, terrible location, too few tv channels. The noise of the air conditioning prevented sleep. Noisy.Incompetent staff. Very rough area.

We are situated 5 miles south of Oxford City Centre. From M40 north - exit J9. Join A34, following signs towards Oxford. Follow brown tourist signs to Kassam Football Stadium. We are just beyond the Stadium. From M40 south - exit J8. Join A40. Follow A40 for about 4 miles to first roundabout. Turn left (first exit off roundabout) and follow brown tourist signs to Kassam Football Stadium. We are just beyond the Stadium. From M4/southampton - Exit/cross M4 at Junction 13. Follow A34 towards Oxford. Follow brown tourist signs to Kassam Football Stadium. We are just beyond the Stadium. Taxis cost about 9.00 per journey between the hotel and Oxford City Centre. Bus routes available - 5A and 5B. Half hourly service, but takes about 40 minutes as they go through local housing estates. For information only - Nearest Park and Ride (p&r) is Redbridge - regular service into Oxford. 1 to park car and 2 per person for the return bus journey into Oxford (costs are approximate). Only accessible by car/taxi as no public transport between hotel and p&R.
