As we are Championship Dog Show exhibitors travelling every week to dog shows in the Uk and Southern Ireland to be able to have our dogs in the room was an added bonus. The garden was fantastic, we spent a very relaxing afternoon out there.Room excellent, well appointed. Quality of food very good. Relaxed atmosphere. Food excellent, people very helpful. Very Friendly and helpful Staff.

Check out on a sunday am was at 10am which we thought was very early, 11am may be better even if only on a sunday.Some parts of the hotel were grubby, notably the corridor and stairs leading to the Garden Annexe where our room was situated. The carpets in this part were in serious need of renewal as was the paint on the walls. After passing through the grubbiness the room itself was fine. The evening meal was very expensive.The shower curtain was mouldy. The decor in the Bedrooms! Very outdated and in need of a good makeover! Not much choice at Breakfast. Fried eggs are usually standard, but none were available.Needs an upgrade. Not enough room in the restaurant for a family of four. We had to eat in the bar with a young family. The bathroom only had a bath no shower. The bar area was very tatty, all the seats were ripped and the room felt dirty. the room could do with redecoration as could the stairway. Also tea/coffee at breakfast was served by the cup, hence not very hot. generally drab,some araes neede a good clean. The toilet in our room had been used before we arrived and had not been flused. The hotel is long overdue a clean and refit.
