    where to start checkin was easy and quick.we stayed in room 1 omg what can i say it was wonderful with a lounge and a mezzine bedroom.the staff were nice and polite,the owner was lovely bringing us a meal from room service in a thunderstorm.breakfast was self serve but it was all hot and tasty.we had the carvery while we were there and at 3.99 u c... what people say » ouldnt go wrong. - Accommodation was excellent and very comfortable had lots of room for us all to move around. Reception staff welcoming and very helpful a smile goes a long way. Our dog Tilly was also greeted with a friendly pat and quickly made herself at home. We enjoyed a carvery meal in the restaurant for £4.50pp a fantastic price and didn't break the bank.

    I liked the 'period' feel of the place and the rural location, a pleasant change from the usual budget option. The staff were particularly helpful and welcoming. The food in the pub was well above average for pub grub, good value, nice beer, and genuinely helpful staff. The staff were lovely, i met about 5 of them and all were helpful, polite and nothing seemed too much trouble. Despite my room faving a pub right outside my window i had no problems with sound and over all had a relaxing stay.
