  Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. The food both at breakfast and dinner was superb and the... what people say » service was very efficient and friendly. Overall a fantastic stay and my wife and I will certainly be going back again. - Staff were very professional, friendly & attentive providing an excellent service. Food was very good but perhaps a little expensive. Lovely location with spectacular views. New leisure facilities at the hotel (gym, sauna etc) will be great when finished. The pool is fantastic.

  Lovely location, away from the main roads, but accessible to many beaches nearby & a short drive from Salcombe. The house is in the middle of a working farm - not just a converted place that only operates as a guest house. Friendly helpful staff & lovely cooked breakfasts, with a wide range of options. - We had a lovely room,the Oak suite... what people say » . The bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts were excellent and the staff were delightful. The setting is idyllic and perfect as we love Hope Cove.

  Just everything, I think perhaps they upgraded my single room. The view from the window was just stunning, breakfast was SO good, properly hand made using good ingredients, just such a treat to stay there. Staff were friendly, and helpful, the décor was lovely, ditto the room. I'd stay there again, no question of that, and such a perfect location ... what people say » within stone's throw of the beach. - The hotel was very comfortable and staff friendly. The general atmospher was upmarket , with both guests and staff very polite. I have mobility problems and when I asked for a room near the lift , my request was instantly granted. I would thoroughly recommend a balcony room and the food was absolutely delicious.
