The personel is very friendly and professional, diner and breakfast are delicious, good and familiar atmosphere - This is a great hotel we had a room with a view of the harbour is was excellent, The breakfast and dinner were very good also.   The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable with balcony views across the river. The b and b was situated cenralyy and within easy access to everything. We would recommend it to anyone. and will probably be returning one day. The rooms were clean and spacious with pretty verandahs overlooking the river and sea. The breakfast was excellent (both cooked and continental).   The staff were really friendly, if you needed anything you just had to ask, nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent and always really hot. There is a very good breakfast menu. The rooms have good view of either the harbour or sea.   I had a wonderful week here. Caroline and Alan made me feel at home, and although travelling on my own I felt I was not lonely. The lovely surroundings with Dunster, Minehead or the Dunkery Beacon kept me busy and the beauty of nature in this area provides a welcome break to the stresses of everyday life. Altogether I had a very relaxing and uplif... what people say » ting holiday. - The location was perfect with everything on our doorstep, we parked the car in their car park(added bonus) and did not need to drive again till we left. Caroline and Alan great hosts with a very welcome tray of tea when we arrived and great breakfast. Longmead is a beautiful house that is full of warmth and character. Would definately stay there again.

  We went to Lynton to relax from our busy life in London. The landscape is breath taking and the contact with nature amazing. Everything at the Croft House was perfect, Helen, the owner, was always very kind and attentive, she has definitely made us feel at home. The room was beautiful and very clean. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the Croft House to those who want to relax, have great food and feel par - Owner of the guest-house was fabulous and outstandingly helpful. Couldn't have felt more looked after. Everything one could think of had been provided for in the room. Breakfast was good. Location is fantastic.
