We were pleased that this was not a country pub with accommodation, it was better than that. While the downstairs decor was pubish the rooms were exceptionally well setup. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. The staff couldn't have been friendlier; very accommodating! The breakfast was excellent; as it's a pub, it was wonderful to have a drink and meal in the evening - really enjoyed it!

Staff very friendly and polite. The layout of the rooms is just amazing, they are not situated in just one building. They are all converted outbuildings i.e. The Granary, The Dairy, The Byre etc. Just amazing. I lived in Cornwall for 22 years, been to Lostwithiel many times but never been to the Golf and Country Club before. It's a lovely place and
