Excellent and beautifully decorated no-expense spared brand new small luxury hotel. They may only have been open a few weeks but they've hit the ground running thanks to the top quality experienced staff. My room was super comfortable and the marble bathroom with heated floor and electric loo gorgeous. All the food was delicious from the Rib eye steaks to the pasta to the Sea bass ! My morning fruit plate of tropical fruits was perfect and always ripe. The heated cigar terrace must be un.
all reviews » Only stayed for 1 night in May but thought the hotel was absolutely fantastic. It's location in the centre of London is ideal, the quality of the staff training is excellent, the rooms and the personal feel to the hotel is perfect. The use of the curtesy Rolls Royce really topped off a superb stay. The room was a Luxury King which I believe is the standard room. However, it was a really good size with a very large tv. We didn't dine at the hotel but did have breakfast which was excellent. The staff were very attentive. The decor was wonderfully art deco. The staff members that greeted me at the door and took me to my room were all very attentive and made me feel like a vip. Hotel staff, rooms, attention to the details -- all my requests were fulfilled without any problems. loved the location and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Bedroom very comfortable. Lack of hotel car park - only valet service, but after all, it is common London problem, not the hotel. Bathroom was set up for a wheelchair and some aspects not so good for able bodied, sink in particular very low and I'm not so tall. The gross error with our booking. We booked well in advance and specified a king bed. We were put into a disabled room with an inadequate queen bed. The management however made up and compensated for this error halfway through our stay. The chef must learn what kippers are and how ro prepare them!. The cigar bar is right at the entrance to the hotel. The doors to the bar remain open all day and night. The stench of fresh and stale tobacco smoke in the lobby and restaurant is unbearable. Although the rooms were very clean, but the size of the delux rooms was a bit small. Lack of facilities No day/evening lounges to use without enduring smokers. Did not like cocktail bars position directly infront of smokers and to small. Entertainment Jazz piano wasted in the room it was in.But great pianist. nothing at all. Some Rooms are small. Very high deposit per night. a bit costly!, No spa, No gym, No pool. but other than that is perfect. No meeting rooms No late checkout unless you pay an extra half day (even if you stay for a week) Overly expensive bar. n/a. Dirty towels!... Sorry. Dirty towels! Room was noisy and the food takes an awful too long to reach from room service! The reception is rude and out of line!.
