We had a fantastic stay at ‘The Rookery’, I cannot fault the hotel orstaff in any way. Previous comments mention the noise from a localnightclub, we had no problems with this at all and our room was locatedat the front which is where if you were going to have problems youwould. The room was double glazed I’m not sure if this was a newaddition or not but noise was certainly not an issue. There.

The hotel itself is great but near by is the night club Fabric which threw out pumping music most of the night and made the street busy and noisy but the double glazing on the windows helped to muffle this. Nothing that comes to mind. no soft drinks or mixers in the honesty bar, no kettle/tea/coffee making facilities in the room and we were told after our return from a wedding reception at midnight that room service ceased at 1030pm. all i wanted was a cup of tea!. Not refilling mini bar, food expensive and items missing that were included on menu. No complimentary tea/coffee facilities in the room, room very cold when we arrived, main mode of heating was an AC system which was rather noisy and stuffy when trying to sleep. Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room; the noise outside at 6 am. Can be noisy at night with the local clubs. Poorly functioning aircon. No tea making facilities in the room.
