It is an elegant hotel in a quiet but very nice district. It is very close to London Bridge, Tate Modern, Borough Market, Shakespeare globe. Within walking distance there is nice restaurants and cafes. There is even a cinema across the hotel. The tube is within 10-15 min. walk from the hotel. Moreover there is a direct line to the city centre with the tube. Another amazing thing about our stay in the hotel is the BED! It is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept! To sum up B2 has elegant .
all reviews » Extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay! Very quick check in with lovely staff who helped us to find bus routes. The room we stayed in was amazing - everything from the layout to the comfy bed and huge shower made our stay so fun. We also had a great view onto the courtyard where the sun came in, and were able to see the park. We were able to leave bags for the day. Tower Bridge was just down the road! Short bus journey to Waterloo/Southbank areas too. We were there for the London marathon and found it a haven but also close to Tower Bridge where we could watch the race. Excellent location in what has become a charming area with great galleries, shops and riverside restaurants. Antiques market in square outside hotel on Saturdays. Rooms very comfortable and friendly staff. This is the second time we have stayed at the Bermondsey Square in the past year and wouldn't consider staying at any other hotel in London. It is particularly good value, with clean and comfortable rooms. We love the area, its independent shops, community atmosphere and outstanding restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept really well both nights. The room was a good size for London and there was a good size desk in the room to log on. Nice to not have to pay for Wifi for once in a hotel. Receptionist (male) on the Sunday morning was excellent and really helpful. Located in a pretty cool, up and coming area of London that I had never been to. My husband really liked the TV. The shower was really nice too and the king sized bed was very comfortable! Good value for the $. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Eva, (I do hope I spelt her name correctly)! The bedroom and en-suite facilities were very clean, and of a high standard. Stayed here on the night before the London marathon and had a very quiet and comfortable night, with great location near to restaurants, tube stations etc. Room was very clean and a good size. The room was well designed and although the bathroom did show signs of wear it was spotlessly clean. All of the staff were friendly and hellful, whjch jss nice when travelling alone. The location is fabulous. The shops and restaurants are numerous and a 10 minute walk to the tube station. The staff were amazing even late in the evening. Lovely warm welcome.
