Closeness to subway and cleanliness. The location is absolutely marvellous! The staff is friendly and helpful. My room was cleaned every day, towels and all stuff changed daily as well. Breakfast is ok, it's good they added cheese to the menu:) Didn't have it 6 months ago. Stayed here three times in 6 months and think will do in the future.Very nice hotel at a good location. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The hotel is closed to distric and central line tube stations and is next to Notting Hill area. My single room was tiny and a bit claustrophobic but I didn't care, you don't spend lots of time there. Think a double room could be a bit too small for a couple.. We paid for a more expencive room in the redecorated floors, that was not available. We still had to pay the increased price eventhough we didn't get the room we paid for!!!. The 3% charge if paid by credit card. Our plans changed while we were in England already and instead of two nights we stayed there only the second night. However, we had to pay for two nights. I know this is about the cancellation policy but it would have been nice if they were more flexible. The hotel itself and services were OK.Our room overlooked the street (on the ground floor) and it was terribly noisy, especially in the evenings, people were smoking and chatting loudly just in front of our window. Of course, it's not the management's fault, but it was quite annoying because our baby couldn't go to sleep and neither could we. no remote control in the room there was a £10 deposit for it ,no lift to the 3rd floor. The continental breakfast was okay, but we missed some fibres and perhaps some yoghurt/fruit. Only childrens´ cereals and white toasted bread(+tea/coffee and juice) was served. There was plenty though...Moreover, we stayed for 6 days, and didn´t have our beddings changed. Poor breakfast. Bed was bit broken i had to put pillows between bed and wall because i was schreeching a bit. the mattress was awful!!!!. the breakfast could do with working on. after first night room was not properly cleaned and towels not changed. the breakfast was a little poor... there should be like bacon and eggs, fruits, vegetables. no phone in the room. Yeah, the breakfast was very poor. No mirror n dressing table in theroom, no room telephone. The room was a little small and the breakfast was quite poor.no shelves in bathroom, poor quality breakfast, recent refurbishment work very poor quality. Internet not working, lift not working. It would be good if tea/coffee were available in the room. The carpet could do with being a little cleaner.breakast is simple. Continental breakfast and general facilities in breakfast room. Improvements were being carried out in hotel with painting and decorating. Having travelled for 2 weeks around the UK it was the first time I was asked to pay the total cost upfront. They insisted I pay an extra 3% on the total because I was using an overseas Visa card (even though it was my Debit account). Using the AC was an extra charge. Breakfast was basic and they couldn't be bothered with real cultery. The room was not cleaned everyday and no fresh towels. The breakfast - plastic knives and spoons, awful orange juice, only toast, jam and cereal to eat. 5 nights staying and the towels haven't been changed. We have been given an extra one only on demand. Our beds have been roughtly made and the room wasn't aerated. No wifi connection despite we were at the first floor.
