The hotel was right opposite Shepherds bush empire could not have been better placed. Pleasant staff; simple environment. The location was ideal since I was going to a gig at Shepherd's Bush Empire, which is right across the street. The price was reasonable, and the included breakfast was a plus. Breakfast had a good range of selections, and I was surprised a staff member served everything rather than a do-it-yourself option.

I had no trouble with anything, my room was small but nice for it's price range, I could sleep ok at night so it wasn't noisy or uncomfortable, and the shower was new-ish.The hotel staf were really friendly and did everything to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The bathroom was quite cramped and tiny, so it would be difficult for a large person to be comfortable in. But it worked for me.the only reason I haven't put excellent for the room cleanliness is that the shower head in the bathroom either needs replacing or an extremely thorough clean - it was caked with limescale. full english breakfast would have been nice. water pressure in the shower was not very good, I could hear other peaople snoring late at night, there was no desk to put your things one (I had to use the tv) and the room wasn't very clean when I got there, and the remote for the tv was really dirty. The distance from the city centre was at times problematic as it took ages on the tube.I asked at the reception if I needed to get a remote for the TV. They said no. But there was no remote in the room !!! It did not matter much for a one-night stay, but still strange and inconvenient. I hope this does not happen again. Also, the single room would greatly benefit from the simplest of chairs. There were lot of noice from the traffic, should be more isolated windows.Maybe breakfast could be smother!!!! seemed to have to wait or ask for things, table only partially set both days. The bed or the mattress seemed a little bit uneven, i.e. slightly tilting to one side.On one of the days the blind fell off the hinges when opening it in the morning. A lady came and brought continental breakfast to the table, which was nice, but it wasn't clear when you went in what you needed to do so we started to help ourselves...!. every weekday morning from 8 oclock, they started 2 refurniture which made a lot of noise and we couldnt sleep at all.....and the first day we stayed in the bed sheets are smelly..Noisy rooms against the street due to heavy traffic outside hotel. We changed rooms as the first (a double) was very small and the en-suite was tiny.Tiny rooms and tiny beds, not very comfortable to sleep in there with2 persons. First room was tiny with no lighting at all, but was soon moved to new room. No reading light available in new room, no mirror in room. no receipt for cash payment.Very noisy, remote control not working. had to leave early the next morning before breakfast times,they said they would leave the Dining area open and available, but on the said morning this was not the case. Very noisy at night due to locality to near pubs and night clubs.being charged £1 for using a debit card declaring it was a bank charge which is just a lie. drain blocked in shower so water over flowed and mouldy water in the kettle. The breakfast room was much to small - no internet. I traveled alone so i stayed for 5 days in a single room... very single... incredible small room!! very small bathroom!! but after the first shock i get used to it and at the end i found it confortable.. but in reality, its a bugdet hotel, so dont expect luxury!. I was disappointed by having mice in my bedroom, it was impossible to sleep when they were running all over the place, eating my food. And in the middle of the room was an extremely smelly and dirty old fridge, serving as a table just beside bed. Breakfast was very poor, cheap.room tiny, external noise bad, bed clothes had holes in. The room was too small.
