Ideally located for the South Bank (e.g. Tate Modern), Borough Market and Imperial War Museum. Air conditioned. Excellent shower. Friendly and very customer focussed. Good location and fair price. Staff very helpful. Good set-up with breakfast/drinks in foyer. I was just looking for something clean, comfortable and reasonably priced in an area easy to access- and that is exactly what we got. Southwark was clean and quiet - and hotel is within walking distance of 2 tube stations.

Nice rooms and central location walking distance from southwark tube station to able to get to O2 arena easily. Yes excellent, staff very helpful. Staff honesty - on arrival i was over charged and when i checked out in the morning another staff member apologised and explained their mistake and had credited the amount back onto my card -all without me saying anything - thank you. Five minutes walk from tube station then about 5 stops on the tube to the o2 arena which was our reason for staying here. Would use this hotel again if going to any more events at the arena.free breakfast. breakfast was very good, very welcoming female member staff in dining room. staff happy to help generally, got us into our room asap. I stayed in Southwark as it was an easy place for me to get to and from the 02 arena and Kings Cross - but it isn't a touristy place and a bit of the beaten track and didn't appwear to have much nightlife.Only one minor thing - the pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. lack of parking in the area.yes i rang the hotel when i ariived home to ask about a jumper i ad left behind and asked that if i paid the postage would they forward it on to me and they said no, which reallly spoilt my whole trip. bed comfort: not very comfotable in double or sofa bed. not enouggh pillows either very limited linen and we were quite cold as a result. not enough towels in room. TV/Radio the instructions on screen were misleading/ unclear in relation to the hand held controler. Radio selection Very good to get Radio 4 but difficult to locate! TV very small. there were only two tea bags a day in our room.no biscuits in the room.breakfast rolls hard and dry and not enough prepared fruits for breakfast.i booked a triple room - it was a double, and there was no spare bedding. chose a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room, no bath just a shower, very limited breakfast, limited facilities. TV turning its self on in the middle of night.
