Excellent Staff, went to great lenghts to find and forward an intem we had left behind. Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. every thing helpfull staff very clean tidy. It was clean and friendly. Staff were very helpfull.quiet @ night. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room and also the bathroom wasspacious and really clean. It was comfortable and clean and good value. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. location; staff; breakfast!. when we arrived there was a mistake with our booking but reception rectified this very quickly. the rooms were lovely, very clean and the air conditioning was very good. rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels were given every day. Staff very helpful. Very good bathroom - best shower pressure of all the places we stayed at. Very good location - close walking distance to the train and resturants (down the same street as the train station). staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. room clean and comfortable, great location. marks and spencers next door that is central location. Standard, what you'd expect from a chain hotel. Continental breakfast was also a plus.some nice retaurants very near by and a nice area of the city. Air conditioning was too cold in the foyer. breakfast was poor. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were way over cooked and inedible. The sausages had no flavour. Luckily I prefer the continental side of breakfast.There were always too many people and too little space at the breakfasttime, but it was not a really big problem :-). On 26.12.2001, hotel staff booked a taxi for us from hotel to Heathrow Airport Terminal 3. We were told by the staff that the taxi fare was 25 pounds. However, the taxi driver requested us to pay 50 pounds (double the price) on arrival of the airport.Just that the expel-air in the bathroom did not work. Pillows too high. Would like thinner pillows. Everything else was good.advertised having sky tv, but didn't say only news and pay movie channels. Yes the breakfast wasnt continental at all I expected boiled eggstheir was none. Very basic Breakfast. Burnt toast, dry rolls, instant coffee, shrink wrapped cheese sticks... Orange Juice Machine out of stock for 2 whole weeks! Staff mostly nice and helpful except for one female manager who was unfriendly, unhelpful and generally not interested in helping each time I encountered here (3 times). proximity to underground. Seriously overpriced internet access. very poor breakfast for what you pay. few places to eat nearby. Hairdryer not working. Location -- not too useful for tourists, not close to anything and not near a subway/tube station. The breakfast was disappointing.......... Especially the coffee............Real coffee is somrthing you got at most hotels now not the stuff that comes out of your machines.the breakfast area was not big enough for the amount of people and the bed had stains.
