all reviews » good location. its not two far from were i wanted two go. The best thing is the location, close to vitoria station and all it's shops and restaurants. The staff was helpful trying to fix the problems apointed. free tea and coffee close to victoria station. Friendly staff. location to victoria station. Close to train station. the location. Nothing we checked in found the room totally unacceptable, smelt strongly of smoke, the room and en suit felt unclean. Found another hotel and booked in their ( Comfort Inn across the road same price room and faqcilities 100% better than Edward House. It was near to Victoria station transport links. Location, breakfast. Yes, very much. the noise of trains. Breakfast room was too small, poor bathroom facilities.train's nosie. My toilet bag was removed after second day containing electric shaver, electric tooth brush, flannel soap, deodearnt and medicines. I have written to the hotel about this. This was a major inconvenience.The hotel gave me emergency supplies.The towels seems to be not very clean even if they change it every day. Short of comfort but maybe good value anyway/ Confort un peu limite mais correspond peut-être au prix. Breakfast, small room and WC. Very grubby and old hotel but clean in room. Very outdated and lots of noise from the underground. Certanly not value for money. The hotel as nothing to do with the pictures shown on the web. Be prepared for a old hotel, with lack of conditions (room was freezing cold and not very clean, no warm water or "power showers"). The breakfast was not bad, but without diversity (no cheese or ham). After a few days it get's boring eating always the same thing. the bathrooms need re-doing mold and dirt on the tiles and shower door, the tiles need to be re-grouted and cleaned and just made to feel cleaner.Decor was very dated/dirty. Sheets had staines on them, Carpets was dirty. unfriendly staff who has got attitude, small rooms. Everything else, it was absolutely shocking. the hotel should have never passed health and safety. See above. The sheets looked like they hadn't been changed. It was late when we realised this, so we ended up sleeping on sheets that someone else had slept on. The room was in the basement. It needed redecorating. It had a funny, sweaty smell. The shower tray had hundreds of cracks in it. It was difficult to complain. The staff weren't English and the hotel was full. It was joined on to a derelict building.Very old building, near train station, thus all night you're room isshaking because of the trains passing by. Not too clean. Near with railway. Building to old. Rooms to small,even if there is a shower it only coner....very small. not very clean, staff didnt speak to you!. The noise of the trains, room was poorly decorated, room was not asclean as I expected it to be - hair in bed was not own, shower leaked,staff were not very friendly or approachable and some did not speakEnglish, breakfast facilities poor - I.E. dining room doubled as thereception/office. The bedlinen not very clean..., Thankfully, got pillow cases with me handed.

By public transport: We are less than 2 minutes walk from London Victoria train and coach stations. BY CAR: From the A40(M) follow the A5 onto Edgware Road, down to Park Lane and through to Hyde Park Corner. From here take the turning for Grosvenor Place and turn right into Buckingham Place Road. Turn onto Elizabeth Bridge on your left and follow this into St. George's Drive, where the Edward House Hotel is situated.
