What people say

Excellant facilities , cleanliness and helpful staff will wish to stay there again on any visit to london !. value for money. We needed an extra night due to last minute changes to our schedule and the staff were very accommodating. Also having Internet access via the computer downstairs was very convenient, the close proximity to London and the Underground Metro at Victoria Station close by.
all reviews Close to transport. Lounge room. View from our bedroom.Location and responsiveness of staff at front office. Close to Victoria Station, room was clean, front desk staff helpful. Free wireless internet and other services like post, airport shuttle, free breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff freindly and helpfull.Location. Exellent shower. Comfortable bed. Well heated. Good storage space.Great location. The hotel is well-located for walking, budget priced, and clean.location, price. Wi-fi. Staff were polite and welcoming. Hotel situated in good location for overnight stay in london for night out on town. the convience to the city centre. The room was very clean. Closeness to Bus and trains from Victoria. It was cheap and somewhere to stay for a work trip but I wouldnt go back. The hotel was situated quite conveniently nearby the Victoria station. It was close to the Chelsea Flower Show. Breakfast area was okay. . The flat screen tv in my room was good.big bed for single bed. The view out of the window..!!! For the money location was good - if you just want somewhere to lay your head cheaply - this is it. We would reccommend this hotel for this.conveniant location, easy to comute throughout London. Location - that's the only thing I like about this hotel.Close to victoria station, connection to other part of the city. I liked nothing on this hotel.it's near victoria station. the reception area. Location. Absolutely nothing, it was dirty, grubby bed linen and towels, unfriendly staff. No hot water sunday morning and no apology. Ripped chairs in the lounge . Didn't even attempt to have the breakfast wasn't keen on what we might find.they grudgingly moved us to a better room after we complained although new room only had tiny wet room not a proper en suite and was up 6 flights of stairs! (no lift). The only thing that i like was the possibility of an internet connection on a fair cost. The fact that it was very central !. Cleanliness of the shower. Quad room was old and in need of repair (we asked for things to be fixed and they were promptly) and room was quite cramped but useable. Bedding was not changed during a 3 night stay. Bedding on Double Bed was for a single bed.Even though our booking was for 2 people, our room had four beds in it. Not a big deal but it did overcrowd the room. The breakfast room was also overcrowded with too many tables for the space. No lift, which made it difficult to get our bags up 4 flights of stairs. The breakfast quality. Continental breakfast can at least have good quality bread, juice and cereal.room temperature too cold. Staff a bit surly. Lots of stairs--no lift.Had to be moved to another room the last night as there was a leak from the ceiling and my bed was soaked.Door was not locked on my return to the hotel.rooms in the 4th floor very small, small windows, low ceiling, steep and narrow stairs, not fresh air. Curtains were broken - paid £45 so quite content for an overnighter - dont think i could stay more than one or two nights though.onsuite extremely small. Breakfast poorly served...kitchen staff communication rather poor.Size of the room situated on the fourth floor and without lift. Last flight of stairs was narrow and difficult to negotiate when carrying luggage. Hotel stopped offering English breakfast on 14.07.2008, to get a decent breakfast we had to find a cafe close to the hotel (additional costs). The room had no sink or bath plugs and when asked for some the hotel could not supply any!. English Breakfast was more like Continental Breakfast. Cereal and Toast only.it was extremely dirty. I arrived after 1.30 as stated, given the key but the room wasnt madeup. The room was a single as requested but the bed was very small - im5'6 you would have struggled if a man. The bathroom was a little grotty. The smallest room we have ever stayed at. Reminded us of backpackers accomodation. Not suitable for anyone over 30. the room was hot and clastrophobic.I originally booked it with the understanding that I was getting a full english breakfast but this was changed to continental and I was not informed, breakfast provided was very basic. We could not use the shower because th door did not work properly. My sister's room had a tv she could not watch and was not flat screen. also she had a radiator she could not adjust and her room was dirty.somewhere in the room are broken. Broken toilet and broken shower fitment, very cramped. My room was extremely small. It was only possible to open the door into the room by about one foot, before it hit the bed. Im sure this breaches fire regulations, and although i did manage ok, if i was of a substantially larger build, i doubt that i would have got into the room!!!!. cleanliness of the room was poor, someone had been in the room and used the tea and coffee and it had not been cleaned since. For breakfast our full english consisted of 1 rasher of bacon, 1 "cheap" sausage, some very sweet baked beans, and an overdone egg. We were not even spoken to on arrival in the Breakfast room - cleanliness was something to be desired. However - you pays your money - you gets your goods. No Full Cooked English Breakfast,Bathroom was very unaceptable with dirty shower curtain, spiders in the bath, electric wires from the extractor fan, fan not working, overall not very nice to walk into.Room was large, good beds with clean linen etc. no english breakfast. This time was a terrible stay. They moved us to the 4th floor andoverthere it's so narrow stairways that we hardly could take our luggageupstairs. It was so dirthy everywhere........... Terrible smell inbathroom, dirthy toilet, shower doors that was realydiscusting.......... Breakfast was only continental and the toster brokeso we needed to wait for 20 minutes to get a toast. The bathroom was a disgrace, gaps in the tiles around the bath filledwith tissue paper, the side panel was curling outwards and mouldy.Thebedroom had no way of opening the window because security bars weremissing on the outside. Toilet-very very very small and stinks-no exhaust at all Room is tooooooooooooo small-lack of space to move. No exhaust in the toilet and in the kitchen-you'll end up with a smell of bacon after you finish your breakfast.Room was in nearby hotel, very dirty and in need of refurbishment. It was not clean, I found the door open when I came back to my room, some things were missing....The hotel receptionist was so rude and impolite and unhelpful. The hotelroom was not cleaned properly and there were many rubishes even in theroom. I complained to the hotel, but not much improved.bathroom, breakfast. staff were not overly friendly, tv and heating never worked, no door to bathroom, bed sheets and towels dirty, old rattley wooden windows. single ensuite bedroom was a box room with lest then a square metre to stand!!. Rooms differ one from the other very much. There was no elevator and very narrow stairs to the 4th floor. It was not possible to carry big suitcase upstairs or downstairs. Rooms were dirty, furniture was broken, hair dryer not working. Breakfast was awful. Also very bad sound proofness. The window was broken and we had to stuff it with a sheet to stop the wind blowing in. The bathroom was dirty with holes in the wall where the toilet cistern and soap dish should have been. Budget hotel. The hotel was very dirty, beds not confortable, hairdryer not working (then asked to repair no one payed attention). We didn't received breakfast as toaster was broken.the bathroom was tiny. The room looks dirty. No lifts. The reception was not nice.the curtain was hanging from the rail my husband stood on the bed to hook curtain back on rail, thare were clothes from previous guest still hanging in the wardrobe, the carpet was disgusting as were the bedspreads it was so disapointing that i cried.the shower tray did not drain properly when the shower was in use, one of our rooms was freezing with black mould in the corner for which we were not given a refund, there was four beds in one room for two people, and the general appearance of the rooms was shabby. The decor was dreadful, one curtain hanging at one window that didn't fit , piece of old chewing gum stuck to the bedside cabinet. Shall I go on !! I know it says not to complain but I am just telling the truth. When we arrived we were directed to a basement room with a grimy 'window' which had barsand looked out onto a wall.the bathroom had leaked water all over the carpet in the room and to get down the stairs to the room we had to walk over nails, tools and sawdust, under landders and squash past tradesmen as they were renovating. the new room did not have ensuite but a tiny wet room, awful, awful, awful. the staff was not friendly and the room was cleanless. The room and the windows were quite dirty. The hotel needs badly to get renovated. The toilet flush and the bed light were defect. Although I informed the reception, during the 4 days of my stay nothing was repaired. The curtain almost fell down, the sheets had holes, the breakfast was of a very bad quality!.
