The staff was very healpful. Everyone was pleasant. The room was muchlarger than we expected. Very clean.Breakfast was very good and foodwas plentiful. A quiet location but central to everything. There wasalways hot water and the room was always warm which is very importantin winter London.

The hotel is very good located next to a sub way. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean. And I liked in particular that they had free access to to internet. I think this should be standard in all hotels.

Perfect service, nice and polite staff. Clean room. Very nice breakfast. Nice to serve coffee and the in the libary. Very close to Lancaster Lane station!

It was a little bit to warm in the room, difficult to get it colder.. besides this nothing to complain about.

Lancaster gate is not on the map of the hotel, so I had to go around Lancaster terrace and couldn't find Mornington there cause terrase and gate are different streets in London, both near Bayswater))) I finally found Mornington after 40 minutes seeking, it was funny cause I should do it with 2 big bags))) But the hote is good. Please correct the map.

Clean and comfortable - I was upgraded so had a lovely big room. Good location for Paddington station. Staff helpful. Breakfast had freshly squeezed orange juice which is a bonus.

Polite, multi-lingual staff. Breakfast til 10. Check-out at 11. Tea/coffee/chocolate-making facilities in room. Quite clean. Very little noise. Close to Lancaster Gate tube. Good neighbourhood. Close to Hyde Park. Free wifi in hotel lobby/bar. Overall a pleasant stay: recommended.

No wifi in room. Old-furnishing (but clean). Ceiling of bathroom a bit low, and a grate rather than wall (don't look up :-). Also, there's a running complaint here to which I will attest to as well: no bacon at breakfast :-/ but it is still plentiful of other things (sausages, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, cereals, etc.). Finally, the map on Booking.com is correct; don't google the post-code.

The convenience to the tube and main line station perfect when visiting the sites and shopping

staff were helpful at all times. we had a smoking room! yaaaay!

my friend i had a night out and was back around 4:30 am. the main door was locked and we had to ring the bell for about 10 mins before the receptionist could wake up and open the door. I politely said thank you and good night but didn't even get an answer or an apology. But this was only one member of staff. All other members of staff were helpful as I have mentioned.

The hotel was being painted the day I arrived. There were no signs of it and I got some paint on my hands and cloths.

We had breakfast at 9am, although the coffee was in a thermos it was only warm and tasted stewed.
