there was a brun stain on our bed. the breakfast and the location. The hotel is very good located next to a sub way. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean. And I liked in particular that they had free access to to internet. I think this should be standard in all hotels.Comfortable bed. Also, there's a running complaint here to which I will attest to as well: no bacon at breakfast :-/ but it is still plentiful of other things (sausages, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, cereals, etc.). Finally, the map on Booking.com is correct; don't google the post-code.Some bacon would have made a 'full english' breakfast complete. no. The bedroom carpet had a couple of stains that didn't enhance the room although the bathroom and room were very well cleaned. my friend i had a night out and was back around 4:30 am. the main door was locked and we had to ring the bell for about 10 mins before the receptionist could wake up and open the door. I politely said thank you and good night but didn't even get an answer or an apology. But this was only one member of staff. All other members of staff were helpful as I have mentioned.The shower only trickled out.No hotel porter. Although the bar was close as guest I would exspect the night porter to be able to surve resident or room service. Breakfast was poor. No fresh fruit and everythink was under stocked I couldn't have a full breakfast as there was no sausage, bacon or black pudding. Only scramble egg, no fried or boilde. There was warm baked beans and vertualy no mushrooms. No impessive at all.Room was too hot (but a fan was provided). We had breakfast at 9am, although the coffee was in a thermos it was only warm and tasted stewed.Breakfast was not very good WiFi system did not work with Macintosh.the free internet was difficult as an hour is just enough time to get into work and then the connection drops. no air con (was not a problem during my visit though); breakfast always 100% same; no fruits. Throughout the day the room was stuffy, and during the night it was rather cold.Parking was 10 minute walk away. breakfast. The room was a little bit small. The hotel was being painted the day I arrived. There were no signs of it and I got some paint on my hands and cloths.The room was not properly cleaned when we checked in and the heater pipes were lightly leaking to the floor. Othervise very ok.I stay in a single room but the floor was noisy when walking on it,?? and its sound proof was poor. I can hear people talking and walking in the other room.surprised no Bacon was available as part of the otherwise large breakfast menu. the hair dryer and the internet access sometimes was not satisfactory. Single small Lift at times not adequate for the demand.
