Location was excellent; sitting room friendly and welcoming; information by staff was good; umbrellas available! Coffee and tea all day available; quiet area but close to Tube and Regents Park, shopping nearby. I loved the fact that the staff were absolutely wonderful and the place was so spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, cosy and warm. Great breakfast, great location and staff were so helpful above and beyond.
all reviews » The staff was excellent : decided all my problems, answered all my questions! Rooms are very small. Furniture and walls and everything was old, but clean. I recommend this hotel, but don't expect luxury. I liked my stay over all , it was good to have a lift even in small hotel , the staff were really very cooperative .may be just it needs a little renewal like the rooms carpet and it will be nice. Very small room Tiny TV No coffee making facilities in room. No air conditioning as temperature was very high the night we stayed. Only negative were the decoration and cleanliness of the stairwell. That made us wary but pleasantly surprised once we entered the room. Also suggest sheet in summer as well as/instead of a duvet. valor um pouco alto para o que oferece. Room quite small, but was clean. No hot breakfast . the rooms are very small and difficult for two people to get around in at the same time, especially if one of us is big! It could use some hooks in the bathroom area for wet towels. A good cleaning of the carpets might improve the look of the place. But we did enjoy our stay. Lift Noise from the vehicles during the night. Fit the windows with noise barring gadget. Needs decorating and carpets could be cleaned. Scruffy around the edges. Walls need a good lick of paint. Corridors look dirty. Tiny rooms - really cramped, was told I could extend checkout until midday but was then made to exit earlier by a different staff member who was very unhelpful and clearly couldn't care less. Bathroom and bedroom really really small. OK for one night, would not recommend for a week. If you depend on the elevator: this is very small too. Our room wasn't cleaned even though I had put out the 'please clean the room' sign on the door .Out all day and didn't get back until 11-30 pm so too late to do anything about it . a little care worn. toilet for our room can be better designed/maintained. Bedding was dirty - finger nail cutting was found in the bedding. Found a lot of dirt under the bed and room was situated underneath the breakfast room which was noisy in the morning. Small room. Could do with being refurbished as walls not clean and carpets badly marked. Shower keep going hot and cold. Rather Basic,cramped facilities,in room. Lack of information in room,e.g re T.V. operation and Channels available. Lack of Tea/Coffee making facilities in room. Very limited choice of items for Continental style breakfast . Surly attitude of staff at Breakfast, even tho' we were well within time scale stated. Inadequate facilities(tables) for number of Guests at Breakfast. Overpriced, even by London standards, for what was provided. Room was very small ( on lower ground floor) yuk! Needs serious updating Bed was very uncomfortable No room to sit in room to relax. No tea coffee facilities in room. Very dirty stained stair carpets. Room small but clean, you can't have it all!. Very small room and toilet even by London standards. The rooms and stairs could do with a complete refrub. Fans sounded like compressors Not clean Small rooms.
