La chambre était vraiment grande pour un lit doubleThe room was really big for a double bed which is rare in most hotels around this price. . The bed was big enough not to suffer from the heatwaves and very confortable. Our room had a view on the London Mews, which are very common in the neighborhood.
The bathroom had a reasonable size and was very clean and modern, the shower was amazing ! The only downside was the lack of equipments to store your products. The room was on the first floor wh. all reviews
Polite staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast. The most impotent thing - really good location! There's beautiful Hyde Park next to a hotel, you can easy walk to Oxford street, Paddington underground station's in 5-minutes walk. I like this hotel, I'm going to stay here again :).
The location was perfect, only two blocks from Paddington Station, 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. Our room was big and light, bathroom was modern. Breakfast was adequate, just toast, croissants, spreads, meat, cheese, cereal, yoghurt and tea/coffee. Free Wifi was great.
The continental breakfast was good, check in straight forward friendly staff, so close to Paddington train station / underground and Lancaster Gate Tube (Central Line). An old property that has been updated well despite the limitations this can sometimes have. For the price excellent.
All the staff were very friendly, the hotel was very fresh and clean, comfortable beds and reasonably quiet considering location. It was a very good location, easy for the underground.
Good to have a safe in the room, nice decor. The card for the front door was difficult to operate.
Clean, modern rooms with all the comfort, not very often seen in london.
Good simple European breakfast, more than I eat at home (croissants, toast, eggs, jelly and honey, cheese, ham, salami, yoghurt, thea/coffee/hotchoc, orange and apple juice, cereals, yoghurt, ...).
Great staff! They are very helpfull and jovial. Room's size and furniture was in good condition. Bathroom was very clean. I enjoyed staying there and I will choose 27 Paddington Hotel in my next journey. I strongly recommanded it for anyone.
Excellent location & breakfast. Oxford street shopping area is very close to hotel. Hop -on/off bus stand is next to hotel. Paddington station is 5 min walk. Clean room with en suit good toilet. Will come back again in next summer.
very nice location in the heart of the city, friendly staff, clean rooms. What was more surprisingly that the breakfast was included in price
Probably, the next time i will be in London I will book the same hotel with great pleasure.
For the price, in central London, its very pleasant. Feels like a bed
and breakfast. Facilities are basic, but very clean. Very nice
shower. Breakfast in the morning was nice to be included - especially
for the price.
Very clean.
Simple modern furnishings.
Well-appointed modern bathroom, generous size for a small hotel.
Simple but adequate breakfast with good coffee.
Short walk to Paddington Stn and Lancaster Gate tube stop.
It was clean and modern and had obviously been recently refurbished (except for the carpet). It was conveniently located to Paddington Underground station but down the quieter end of Craven Rd, which was good.
The location was very good, close to transport & the Heathrow express. The rooms were very clean, the staff were polite & helpful & breakfast was good.Good value for London.
Brilliant location! Left the hotel at 6pm and arrived at Heathrow by
6.25 (on the Express from Paddington). Rooms smallish but v clean.
The location was great - close to both the Paddington and Lancaster stations. And so travelling around London was so convenient.
The staff were friendly, provided us with a ground floor room because we had large bags and there are no lifts. Great location.
Close proximity to train station, plenty of fast food or pub nearby.
Simple breakfast, basic but enough to start off the day.
I've stayed at this hotel several time and it is always excellent. Great location and always clean and comfortable.
The staff were great-the rooms size good for this price and in London-all in all a good experience-we will be back.
I really liked the staff especially the recepcionist Tatiana. She is very friendly and is ready to help.
Very close to the tube station, Paddington so very convenient. Close to lots of shops and restaurants.
The Hotel was in a good location, It is very difficult to find a room that sleeps 4 people in London,.
Value for money. Good location near to Paddington station. Quiet room.
Very comfy bed. Nice shower.
Hôtel très propre et calme, personnel charmant.
Very clean and quiet. The staff is really nice.
The staff were really friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. Really nice place to stay.
The price, room was compact but great for my needs with very pretty onsuit, value for money.
Clean and comfortable room very conveniently situated close to Paddington Station.
Very kind and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable, big room with a street view.
Very close to Hyde Park where the World Triathlon Championships were held.
They allow me to leave my baggage at the reception after check out.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful.
very good location
clean and comfort room (not so big).
Confort of the room and privacy. Service at reception.
Nice refurnished room and bath room. Friendly staff.
Large room, well equipped, good breakfast.
good location,quiet and comfortable room.
Staff where polite and friendly .
Very nice and clean bathroom.
The room and decor.
Location.
the room was a good size and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. It was very close to the Paddington Tube station. There were a lot of places to eat around the hotel.
The location is pretty good if you're travelling to/from Heathrow.
Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Not much more one could expect given the price.
I appreciated the wi-fi that was included. The location was nice as well—not far from the Lancaster Gate tube station and close to Hyde Park.
Great Location, clean, friendly and helpful staff and our stay was comfortable.
Nice location near Hyde park, subway and Paddington station. Friendly staff.
Good location for Tube line, restaurants and pubs.
price is ok compared to hotels nearby.
Clean and recently refurbished rooms.
Nice breakfast
Comfort and cosy.
Nice room , good shower.
The major problem was the air conditioning or/and the fact that the room was too warm. As soon as we would walk out the door, there's was a lot of air inside and outside the hotel. The breakfast could have been better but was okay though.
Not having a lift when traveling with older guests who couldn't carry their own bags up the stairs which meant multiple trips for myself.
Hard to criticise in the circumstances of the very good price and location, any criticism would be unfair.
The dining room was a little small to accommodate all guests.it would have been nice to have had a pot of tea, rather than just a cup of hot water with a tea bag.
Rooms aren't that big, but hey - it's London, it's clean, modern and with all the comfort.
No lift.
Carrying my luggage up to 3rd floor.
Fan in the bathroom was quite noisy.
We were put on the top floor - so a lot a stairs to climb and no lift. (not that this bothered us, but it might be worth requesting a ground floor room if you can't manage stairs).
Mattress too hard.
Toilet so high that my feet barely touched the floor.
The steep staircase was a bit tight to negotiate with bags but it wasn't a major problem.
The rooms were small & no lift, so you had to carry your bags up a few flights of stairs.
Able to leave suitcase at Reception during the day after check-out, but
no security whatever when collecting it later . a book of cloakroom
tickets wouldn't break the bank.
Climbing up 3 flights of stairs with luggages was extremely challenging.
Very small room, small shower and flat pillow.
Facility does not have Elevator. There are quite many steps if you stay
on the higher floors. Ok for young people but stairs can be too much for
the elder lies.
Only issue, being a light sleeper was the road noise, which did not affect my wife so it must be me?.
I was a little bit disappointed when I saw the room but it was my mistake as I didn't think about it beforehand. It was my second stay in this hotel and I can say that I assume that a bathroom is not well equipped: I think it needs more shelves for putting some things, also there have to be a toothpaste , some cotton pads and etc. Also, it is not comfortable to take a shower because there are no hooks for hanging some clothes.
The room was in the basement (though there was a window at least). The shower hot/cold handle was hard to turn - I had to have a scalding shower the first morning. I then asked the receptionist, and she said probably the heat would be OK now because the cleaner would have changed it, but it wasn't and the next day I had to speak to a different receptionist to get it sorted.
There was nothing we did not like but I found the stairs hard work after a long day walking in London! We stayed on the top floor and no lift.
Lots of very narrow stairs to top floor rooms, not a problem for me with
just an overnight bag but wouldn't recommend for elderly, disabled
or anyone with lots of luggage. Room was on the small side, glad I
booked a double although travelling alone.
Prix très élevés, comme partout à Londres. Pièces un peu étroites.
Really expensive, as usual in London. Rooms are quiet narrow.
No lift. Can be a hindrance when you have a heavy suitcase.
Breakfast wasn't overly impressive but the staff were helpful.
Breakfast room a little crowded.
Many stairs and no one to help with luggage. Poor breakfast. Not many things to do around such as eating, drinking etc without using the tube.
Wifi a bit weak. Hard to get my work done.
The bed was very very firm!.
the free WiFi was terrible
the breakfast is a little bit poor.
Some noise upstairs in the evenings.
Breakfast room very small.
Breakfast room little bit small.
The room being up lots of stairs. The finishing on the decorating was poor cracked tiles on floor .grout missing inbetween walltiles with spacers visible .only choice of two cereals .
The winding stairs, could be a problem for people with large and heavy suitcases.
Stairs.
The person at the desk was not very friendly or helpful. There were only sheer drapes over the window and it was very bright in the room by 5:00 AM.
Breakfast was a little too basic, but fine.
Scolding hot water made it difficult to shower. Could only adjust to make it even hotter than scolding. But it did relax the achy muscles and feet from walking all day.
Rooms are quite small. Breakfast is very basic.
Room cramped; breakfast very basic.
A little bit noise at groud floor rooms.
There is no lift so it is difficult for old people with big luggage.
The entrance stair way is a bit narrow.
Very small dining , mediocre breakfast.
