Lovely warm, time warped friendly atmosphere, perfect for mid Wales. I stayed in an ETAP the night before and it was much more expensive and of much less quality. the location only 200 yards from the bowls where i was playing at 9.30
so no rush to get up and eat a breakfast served from 8am til 9am. good entertainment on the evening. Staff very friendly and helpful. all reviews »
Friendly helpful staff. Clean airy room and everything worked properly--unusual this. Meals good value for money; efficient, busy restaurant.Central location. Is in need of an update and the carpet in room could have been cleaner.It was far too hot!. hotel rooms are quite shabby and dated.The matress was really hard. Soft bed, huge hole under room door.! was the only person there under 65 years old! There was a coach trip staying, but I had no problems with hotel staff, who were very friendly - but 60 old pensioners on a coach tour is a bit over-powering!. number of corridors, doors etc. Heating in hallways too high, lift vey small and out of date,needs some tlc. Cleanlyness in the bed room was very poor.The bed was old ,The room was to hot didnt have a very good night sleep .Very very big gap under the fire door could fit my whole foot under it.Breakfast was very small my wife asked for boiled eggs only got one very small egg and one slice of toast.I had the full breakfast which was one sausage one bacon one egg one hash brown and half of tomatoe i dont call that a full breakfast. Food was terrible, showers awful. No real parking space.Poor quality food, bill charged incorrectly. Left early.

From the South on the a483, follow the road until you reach a zebra crossing. Turn next left into Station Crescent.
