cheap and cheerful. Good Atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, supportive and especially that one guy had a very good sense of humour. The atmesphere was free and suitable for young people. Beautiful building, love the window on the stairs. Cheerful staff really helpful. Comfortable shared areas. Very handy for city centre. TV room and breakfast included. reception is friendly. The staff was very welcoming and helping, they were even ready to wake up at 4am and serve us breakfast or call a taxi!. i liked the hotel staff, very friendly, i liked the architecture of the hotel, the fact that it was central. It was nice that we were able to get breakfast in the morning. Close to the city center, but I guess it's not the only one!. It was close to the inner city. The neighbourhood was calm and quiet. The backpacker kitchen was great. not much, free parking,. Maybe the breakfast. Neither my partner nor I brought wash towels as we expected they would be provided. We were very surprised that they weren't as most budget hotels and hostel provide them..No towels supplied in rooms. Very noisy - mainly form the road outside. For the price we paid thew hotel was good enough. I'd thought it was 4 people to a room, not 4 bunk beds. It was a bit black hole of Calcutta with us and the Canadians... And the carpet smelt of wee.Staff manner and lack of assistance. It was more a hostel than a hotel..when we stayed at the hotel it was impossible to get any sleep during our last 2 days due to the fact the people in the next rooms were extremely noisy and kept knocking on the adjoining doors to our rooms. Also the lights were not on in the stairwells one night and I tripped down the last few steps a few times wwhich was very dangerous. I was tierd and had to walk up the stairs to top floor, no elevator!. No curtains, it was light in the room before 6am! Staff were polite but not very professional. 1 shower + toilet for about 15 rooms, there's a huge traffic in the morning... and not that clean... And the room was extremely noisy, so noisy I couldn't sleep (I'm used to the noise, I live myself in a city center...) ; and one last thing, the staff wasn't friendly at all, pretty grumpy actually.Bad waterpressure when you want to take a shower and use the toilette. The breakfast was very simple. It would have been great if it was a small lamp in the room and some kind of table to put your things on. sheets weren't even clean, bathrooms dirty and all very run down. hotel was disgusting so dirty, booking was not correct and even though a private room was booked our key was given to others while we were out and our room was rented to others. staff couldnt help. worst hotel experience i have ever had.
