What people say
Hotel was very comfortable and bedroom luxurious and romantic, just as I had hoped as special weekend. I commented on the the picture in the bedroom to one of receptionists when checking out and asked where could I obtain one from, she very kindly then telephoned for web address of artist. This type of service one remembers and I would definately stay at the Hotel in the future. All the staff were extremely friendly and natural in their approach and nothing too much trouble. all reviews »
I loved your hotel it was my first stay at a Malmaison and it was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed at - I loved the reception and bar area it was very smart and classy. Also loved the unique touches such as 'the damage' on the bill, the note to say feel free to keep the shampoos etc, and the little room tag 'things could get messy'! I would definitely stay here again! Thankyou!!!. This hotel is fab could not find anything wrong the rooms where stunning great big bath and an amazing wet room shower lovely bed food great and the bar and got a great price on booking . com. Fantastic room, superb shower, brilliant service and the food alone is worth returning for. My wife and I have become devoted Mals (subject to getting the right rate!).The decor was stylish and the reception area was amazing. Staff very helpful and accommodating. We were a party of nine and have nothing but praise for the hotel. We were upgraded free of charge to a slightly larger room. Staff were wonderful, not at all stuffy or snobby as I imagined.Very funky hotel - chic foyer and bar area. Nicely decorated. Great bathroom with toletries. Bed so very comfortable. I liked the welcome feeling i got from your staff, and the fact that if i wanted food or excersise it was all there.Very pleased with the hotel and room, fantastic value for money, easyaccess to the city centre, friendly staff. Food and service was fantastic, comfortable clean modern rooms, friendly staff.Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms modern and comfortable. The helpful, friendly staff who helped me out with some IT problems. The food in the brasserie was excellent! The hotel had great decor. The rooms were amazing, and staff were so friendly.Everything!! But I have stayed there before. Service/food/ambience/decor. Great Hotel!. Overall experience was very good. A very pleasant experience. The room was very good. everything. All v good. As a repeat customer was glad to see that the service and facilities were still top notch even over the busy Boxing Day weekend. After taking in the sights of Liverpool it was lovely to be able to soak in a big deep bath tub!. The room was beautifully presented and staff were eager to make the stay as special as possible. The food at the restaurant was lovely without being overly pretentious and we felt very comfortable in the atmosphere. My experience was great - from check-in to check-out. The rooms have nice little touches and the bathrooms are brilliant. The gym is open around the clock so you can fit in a quick workout within any schedule!. The decor is lovely although the colour of the corridoors, which I loved, is obviously difficult to keep clean. The staff in the breakfast room were 110% and the food was great. I will be back. Good location, nice modern hotel, comfortable rooms and well equipped. Offered a special late checkout option if you had lunch in brassiere on the sunday - great idea and lovely lunch!. Stylish room with good facilities. Good tea and coffee facilities are always welcome. Liked the bathroom too, very good specifications and nice to use. Slept very well in the beds. Excellent hotel, loved the room and the decor, the bathroom was fab, huge bath and seperate power shower too. Staff very friendly and informative. Great stay!. Hotel was located in just the right area for city centre nightlife. Rooms were fantastic, and the staff were great! Try it!!!. very relaxed and comfortable - it was a real treat staying there and the breakfast was excellent. The Hotel was not main stream which is a good change more of a continental style of Hotel. Level of service. I had also left cash behind in the room which was returned to me.Decore, romm quality, staff attitude. Overall relaxed Aubience ofthe hotel. Good alroung with nice bedrooms, i'll be back to stay in the Kop suite.Friendliness of the staff and the hotel was close to the town centre. The check-in, the room, the bar, the bed, the shower, the check-out. friendly staff, cozy atmosphere nice room and bathroom. Bathroom, bed and food. great sausages for breakfast.the bedroom was amazing!!!1 loved the shower. relaxed atmosphere, mostly excellent staff. small intimate and a very friendly hotel. the rooms and staff were excellent. comfort and the relaxed atmosphere. The food, the decor, the ambience.Central and very comfortable. Only just one thing in places lighting in hotel could have been little bit brighter, whilst nice to have atmosphere, in certain situations like choosing from menu whilst having a drink in the bar torch or miners lamp may have been handy!! That apart liked decor.Nothing to fault about the hotel. Feather pillows and duvet. The cleaner waking us up at 8.50am wanting to clean the room when we didn't have to be out the room until 12.00pm. While overal impression was fine we felt that the the hotel decor used too many dark colours.Parking charges. We were kept waiting for a little to long for table water in therestaurant, apparently because they had run out of jugs. Nothing majorat all though.No. residents bar was closed. The mini bar was hugely overpriced. No, I think it was a really good stay. Some people might think the rooms are a bit dark but that's the sacrifice for style! Difficult to walk to the hotel because of the work going on at the Dock outside (Aug 2008) but presumably will get better when it is finished. Driving there appeared to be no problem. I've stayed all over the World and there was nothing I wasn't happy with, even the parking explained fully on the site, so, no surprises.Following our order for room service a member of staff rang the room at 10.00pm requesting we go downstairs and immediately pay for our order. We were staying overnight and in bed and had told the receptionist of our intention to have breakfast but he actually was quite rude for a finish. It was a bit of a distraction. Thought the meal was over priced for the overall quality off thefood. Ordered Homemade chips with Bloody Mary sauce, I was epexctingbig fat chips with a spicy, tangy sauce and got a cup of French Frieswith ketchup.Gave us he wrong the directions to the ferry but meant well. :-). food not available in the bar after 10.30pm. after returning from a concert we had to go to our room to order a sandwich when it would have been nice to have enjoyed the bar atmosphere.very dark interior.
