  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.   This new hotel, easily reached by numerous buses in and out of central London and set in the heart of a minority ethnic community, provided a friendly, personal stay and offered an immaculate room, very fresh bedlinen and towels, plus complimentary soft drinks in a fridge in the room, tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits and satellite TV.
