Freindly, welcoming and helpful staff. Delicious lemon cake as welcome in our room! Location was excellent, close to city walls, York Minster and shopping! I informed the owners of my arrival time which was after their cut off, but they were there to greet us with a map of the city and some extra local tips.(other reviews suggest being left stranded by the owners, I would suggest these people didn't inform them of late arrival!) The friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. The
breakfasts were amazing especially the scrambled egg! It was great to be
able to leave the car parked for our stay and walk to everything. We
also found the information folder very useful. Loved all the photos of
York around the place and Zoe was really helpful with advice on where to
go and places to see. We also loved the smell of the bread baking for

Staff were very helpful and polite. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Also parking on site was a great bonus. Only 10 minute, nice walk into the centre. - The guest house was lovely and clean and the room was the same we were really pleased with it and will definately stay there next time we come to York.
