I loved everything about the hotel. Every member of staff was reallyhelpful and quite lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The bookingout time of 12 noon was realistic and breakfast between 7 and 11 wascertainly more civilised than some hotels. The whole trip was fantastic. We arrived late Thursday evening and there was someone there to check us in and show us to our rooms. The room was beautiful, old charm mixed with a modern bathroom. The building and room were very impressive. There was a relaxed atmosphere and I felt like I was experiencing a little bit of luxury whilst staying there. Breakfast was a delight.
When we arrived we were shown round and given a complimentary cup of tea. I think u get cookies too as several people saidvthey were coming altho we never got any. But we weren't fussed and I think that this was a wonderful touch.

We stayed in the riverside Merchant Exchange apartment and the location was brilliant, just a few minutes walk to all the shops, restaurants & tourist attractions. The views across the city and river were lovely and the apartment was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We appreciated that parking, Wi-Fi and Sky HD were all included in the price.
