  The quirkiness; if you don't like quirky then don't stay here! The staff were young, helpful and keen to make our stay a pleasant one. We chose a room without a window which was fine for 1 night. I was delighted that the special offer was on for 79 pounds otherwise staying wouldn't have been possible to do. Requests were dealt with immediately and we even got a tour of the hotel as we were interested in the history and architecture. The location is ideal.
