    Easy to book, very attentive property managers, Large Victorian style apartment on the top floor close t the city centre. Its about a 15-20 minute walk to the main city centre but lots of other bars/cafes/restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Whilst there was limited metered parking in the street it was cheap at only GB$1 per hour during the... what people say » day, free after about 5pm till 8:30am. The bonus was that if you ask the company they can arrange a free NCP city parking pass at one of the main cit - We stayed at the Blinkbonny Rd residence and it was great. The owner was extremely friendly and the home was immaculate. Absolutely made my family feel like we stayed at our home away from home. We can't wait until our next visit.

    The staff were extremely helpful and we enjoyed being in the surroundings of the old part of the hotel. It had character as well as having modern facilties. The location was not only ideally central it was also very picturesque being surrounded by the georgian buildings around the square. We stayed in the McDonald Bath spa hotel so we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The staff can't do enough for you, opens doors always ask if your ok and if there's anything they can do for us.     Everything. From the greeting at the door to reception to our bags beingplaced in the best room I have stayed in the uk. The service wasfabulous and the hotel was fantastic - will be returning - I travel an awful lot and I must say the Scotsman is one of the best hotels I have ever been in. Huge room with all the trimmings. Great price. Fantastic

    Great place in the middle of the centrum. Despite this, it's rather quiet and away from all the comotion from the Grassmarket. For us the location was splendid, eventhough we had a car. For this we were set up with a free parking spot close by. Payment procedure might be a little confusing and slightly time-consuming, however worth the effort and... what people say » service. Place was designed very practically as well as cozy and modern. We missed nothing since the appartment is fully equipped. Cooking at home w - The self-contained apartment was beautifully appointed with luxury facilities and attention to detail with all basic provisions e.g. coffee, tea, milk croissants The location was great with walking distance to the museum,art galleries, transport restaurants and the castle. Set in a quiet, secluded close in the middle of Edinburgh this was a luxury retreat for us.
