    my friends and i came to york for a couple of days there was supposed to be four of us but one pulled out so two were booked in your hotel i myself was booked into the travel lodge on arriving at premier inn we noticed that we could have all stayed in the one room but i went down to travel lodge and went to room i we were totaly dissgusted it was v... what people say » ery dirty and truth be nown i wouldent put animals in the rooms soback up to your hotel where i was told i was more than welcomr to stay in the room w - Close to the main train station and to one of the city gates giving access to the city walls.     The staff that were there were excellant and could not do enough for us.. Its situation to york was fantastic only a five min walk. - The staff member we dealt with at reception was very friendly, helpful and always willing to help at any point.

    The location was perfect, very central for the city's main attractions, especially the Minster and the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early but they kept our bags and put them in the room when it was ready. Our room (Nr 2) was spacious with a very comfortable bed and, if the furniture was not new, it was... what people say » very well maintained. The shower was a good size and there was heating both in the room and in the en-suite bathroom. Even though the reception is no - The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and since the room was ready, they let us go upstairs and freshen up before sightseeing. The room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view of the wall. It was within walking distance to everything and had free parking for our rental car. I can highly recommend Gregorian House.

Plenty of places to visit unable to cover them all but The market and the tr - I stayed at the York Lodge for two nights. Didn't really know what to expect after reading some of the reviews but I found it very comfortable. Just check in and then you can come and go, there's no reception or leaving your keys. Comfortable room and bed, generous supply of tea, coffee, etc, and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

    The hotel room was excellent; neat pristine and staffed by wonderful staff. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone there the atmosphere was fantastically relaxing it had a very homely feel to it and was within 10 minutes stroll of the Lowthers pub, 5 minutes from the river and 2 Minutes from 'the wall' conspicuous in York. They also assisted us with drying some of his clothes which was fabulous. The breakfasts were amazing. Also, the rooms were reasonably sound proof which helped our baby get a good night's sleep and also meant other guests didn't hear him!

    The room was spacious and clean. We were given a key code to get in as we were arriving when Heidi was out, it was a simple and no fuss system, we were able to put our bags in and go and explore York.
