  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   We stayed in the Executive King Room. The room was very nicely decorated. It looked fresh, clean and new. The bed was comfortable and large and the TV was well-placed and worked properly. The bathroom was clean and the bath was large. Unfortunately the water was not very hot from the hot tap.   All the staff were friendly, (even though it was a big modern hotel)they were courteous and very helpful. A young man warmly greeted us atthe entrance when we arrived in the taxi and this warm welcome extendedto the checking in desk.   Once entering the hotel, we felt welcome greeted by friendly,smiling faces, from the staffs. As well as, from the guests. Our room was great; trendy, clean and comfortable. I also had a Spa treatment, at the hotel. Once entering the Spa, the staff at reception were warm and welcoming.   We got the 1-bedroom apartment. -Very clean and modern (touch screen console controlling room temperature and lighting. Manuals of kitchen appliances can also be accessed from this console. TV already connected to Wifi). -Well-equipped kitchen (Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Convection Microwave, Nespresso coffee maker) -Welcome pack (Fruits, coffee ... what people say » and tea, dishwasher tablets, soap & shampoo) -Good location (Direct buses to Piccadilly Circus and Oxford St., Chancery Lane tube station (Central - Friendly & accommodating staff. Always on hand to help. I was very grateful as I arrived on an early flight (20+ hours) and they arranged a room for me prior to normal check in and also did the same for a late checkout. I loved the Rosebery so much I extended my stay from 1 week to 2 weeks. Close to tube and buses right on your doorstep.
