  On arrival you think it looks like a bad place to leave your car. On checking in the staff show how crime in the area is much lower than the town centre. We had a perfect view of the Mersey and watched the car ferry we were going to sail on arrive. Room was decorated lovely and bed really comfy. For the money we paid for a single night to save us ... what people say » travelling very early for the ferry it was well worth it. - Room is big especially bathroom. The staff is friendly as well. Although the hotel are quite far from city center, the price of private taxi is so cheap, about 3 pounds to city center. That mean if you have 3 people, it will be 1 pound per person.

  Really warm welcome and great host! My room was gigantic and had everything I needed (loved the power shower). John and his wife made sure I had everything I needed and were just so helpful. I chose the hotel for its location as I needed to be close to Prince's Park but it would make a great base for a city break, longer holiday or business sta... what people say » y. A great change from generic chain hotels, a home from home. - we had a great stay a loverley house and warm welcome the breakfast was very differant fresh fruit smoked salmon cheese and fresh bread . the best part spending breakfast around 1 large table in the kitchen shared with other guests lots of conversation and very relaxed we stay again next time we visit liverpool.

  Exterior looked not very appealing, but the newly refurbished room I stayed in was fantastic. I loved the attention to detail and the cleanliness which I really didn't expect. Lovely pub attached to it in an urban area with tesco extra opposite and take aways down the road. I got more than I expected and so was very happy with my stay.
