The fact that the staff were focussed on the guests' needs at all times. They were obviously working as a team under the ethos that enthusiasm and professionalism establishes the standard of the hotel - and it worked!
The concept of the hotel was interesting (an eye hospital transformed into a luxury hotel) and that difference added to its charm.

We used Hotel du Vin as a base for a hen party and enjoyed drinks in the bar, booked Afternoon Tea and a Cocktail Masterclass, along with the accommodation. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect for everyone and suited our trip. Wonderful stay and from the moment we were shown to our home for the weekend, it was perfect. Couldn't fault the friendly and knowledgeable service, the apartment was really well kitted out with the basics and also non essentials - really good hair dryer, even dishwasher tablets and we especially loved the Molton Brown shampoo! Views over the city centre were brilliant. Great location too - not far from anything. Brilliant weekend and our home for the weekend could not have been better!
