The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. Soft leather chairs and twinkly lights. The room was excellent with quality fittings and nights sleep. No noise at all through to the room and it was Christmas party time.
Continental breakfast was really wholesome so much so that my husband didn't miss his usual cooked breakfast.

The hotel is an excellent example of how to restore an old building (with history) into a very comfortable & friendly place to stay. We found the staff to be very helpful & welcoming. The dinning experience in the restaurant could not be faulted.
I liked the idea of the room names (but would have liked the names to have some relation to the buildings history).

attentive allowing us to check in early and assigning us to a fab room.
The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added
extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers. We

The apartment space was luxurious, comfortable, very well thought out and utilised - with modern open-plan living in mind, balcony with fold back door to seamlessly bring the outside space in, serviced to a high standard daily; friendly and very helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place. Don't worry about no breakfast- lots of cafe's nearby- I HIGHLY recommend "the Square" cafe round the corner- superb at very reasonable prices and lovely staff! Anthony stayed june 13 -

I`m an Architect, specialized in hotels, been in 29 counties and hundreds of hotels, but haven't seen such amazing design, decor and luxury of fine details in each and every corner of this unique hotel. It`s beyond imagination. Staff were more than excellent. Food was great.
