Staff were really attentive, efficient and friendly. I left an item of clothing behind and the hotel offered to post it to me straight away Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Venue perfect for shopping and lovely to have a waterfront view at breakfast time. Rooms very comfortable. Good location and car parking. Staff excellent and very helpful.We had a very noisy couple in the room above. (2;3and5 am!). The staff moved our room and offered compensation - we declined the kind offer since it was not the fault of the hotel.
all reviews » The cost, £59 for a family of four. Comfortable beds and blackout curtains... I slept like a log! Kids ate free at breakfast, loads of it. Tea/coffee in room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to park nearby, no extra cost. The hotel was so close to all the amenities the town fir shopping and thr docks for relaxation .ie restaurants and bars. The bteakfast was superb well cooked and plentiful. We will be using this hotel again. Well placed for the town centre or marina, easy to find. Room very comfortable. Excellent choice at breakfast. Clean and well kept. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good value for money. Great value close to Town Centre Breakfast (included in letsbookhotel.com reservation) was excellent. Best when they are cooking to order as opposed to buffet styl. If you miss it, you are locked into the one-way system. One of beds, a pullout bed, a bit short for my daughter who is 5ft 8ins. Only 6 pillows for 4 of us, argued over who had two! TV a bit small for the 4 of us.. Only a small gripe - would have liked more drink sachets in the room particularly decaff coffee. Picture on website looks like hotel is on the waterfront - it isn't! But waterfront is a few yards away down a side road - just a bit misleading. The dinner and and late night fare in the restaurant was limited and mediocre. The kettle in the room was quite dodgy- it would be very easy for someone to burn themselves- boiling water spilling out on pouring however careful you were. Nothing. were expecting a view of the marina but soon found it is only a 2minute walk. You should consider doing a loyalty card for regular users. We were kept awake most of the night as there was some kind of works going on below our room. Shouting and banging throughout the night until the early hours, 5am. Busy road junction with traffic but well insulated against noise. Parking - came back late and no spaces available. Very worrying for a single woman. Bathroom was very large and designed for someone with disabilities. I would have prefered a smaller ordinary bathroom. Beds were very hard, but understandable with being new and designed to last. nothing. not enough milk /tea bags/sugar in room.needs more to cater for the day.one cup each is not enough. Building facade. Paying £80 for a room I could have advanced booked for £30. not being able to open window. Not enough tea & coffee etc in the room for my good lady. would be nice to have dimmer switches for the lights and possibly be able to open the windows. No lock on bathroom Door, small tv. Trying to navigate the one way system. Nothing. n/a. free wifi only 30mins.....!. Nothing, it was all good!. slight mix up over room but sorted OK. Car Parking access difficult. the check-in system is horrendous. the staff guide you through a self check-in system, a receptist would be much better!. Poor breakfast. Not enough staff = cold food. The fact that the restaurant closed 10 mins before we got there & wasn't prepared to make an effort, plus the fact that the girl on reception told us that it remained open for another 20 mins (when it was already closed) Generally, the staff were either poor or average. There seemed to be a lot of contractors .on one particular night I was woken by lots of noise and banging above my room , in then started again a 5.45 early morning . Was told by management I would be refunded for this night , but yes you've guessed still awaiting refund !. The Bus Station next door. The breakfast was shocking after placing our order for the main breakfast we had to wait over 45mins for it to arrive, it made me late for my business appointment. When it did arrive the eggs were cooked in black oil, it was terrilble, I dont think I will stay in this Premier again. They need to re-think their policy on not having a buffet style help yourself service. The waiting for the chef to cook each breakfast dosn't work when you have over 20 people waiting for their breakfast.
