The room was extremely comfortable and we were very impressed with the size of the room and the HUGE bed we had! The hotel is in a fantastic location for the town. We would definately stay at this hotel again. it was near to the center of inverness with a beautiful view of the river ness and castle.the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and fresh and the meals were to die for.

The receptionist informed us that it wasn't a great room and said she' d upgrade us, this did not happen. The room was small and tucked in under the eaves. However it was clean and very comfortable. Bar service could have been quicker, you could wait 5-10mins without any service as the bar tender was nowhere to be found. The room we stayed in was a little on the small side but luckily we were only staying 1 night.Windows were very dirty detracting from the excellent view from the room. the room smell of tabac.The hotel was in need of updating for the price that was paid,we wereput in a non smoking room when smoking was asked for. The Bed was terrible the mattress needed replacing urgently. the single room was small the television channels poor the cupboard space poor iron very poor. Had to ask for room change, staff to be more observent.
