Staff super friendly- I work in hospitality service (ski resort a la cArte restaurant), so very sensitive to good or bad service , room up to date and clean, ate in the hotel- food was fine, I had the mushroom risotto which was said to have wild/Forrest mushrooms but came with run of the mill button mushrooms. The hotel in general had a nice cosy feel to it. Excellent staff, extremely helpful, cheery friendly and efficient, I travel a fair bit and these were the best I had encountered in quite a while. The breakfast was lovely, yet again served by friendly cheery efficient staff. Plenty of parking, as there was additional. It's not often you stay in a hotel where the staff seems so genuinely friendly and makes you feel so welcome as they do at the Beaufort. As a matter of fact, every single employee that I encountered was a perfect example of hospitality. Not only the staff was wonderful, however, but also the room, which was comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated in warm colours. As for the location, the hotel is situated in a nice and peaceful neighbourhood only two blocks from where the city centre be. I really liked the fact that despite booking at the last minute we were allocated a gorgeous suite. When the receptionist heard we weren't there to attend the party night they were holding they offered to move us to a quieter location, which we didn't take them up on as we were having a night out anyway. We heard no noise or rowdiness from any other part of the hotel. Room was very tastefully furnished and I loved the local photographs on the wall. My wife thought this was the best hotel we have stayed in during all our stays in various hotels in Inverness and has already said she will only book into this hotel when she visits again in the future. We stayed in the Highland room which was so scottish laid out with the tartan etc. Absolute spotless hotel and staff were very very helpful. My wife had lunch there and praised it to the max. My sister and I were in the Highland room and it was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. The hotel looks like it has recently been redecorated. Great place to stay for walking into town for meal in the evening. Staff were absolutely fantastic, smiling faces every day and courtesy at reception. Have stayed in the Royal Highland Hotel recently which employs taciturn, abrupt reception staff. Suggest they ask Graham , duty manager at Beaufort for lessons in customer relations. He is the best example of hotel manager I have ever met in uk. The staff was so friendly!!! They made our visit wonderful, it was our favorite hotel in all of the places we stayed in Scotland. It was also very clean and nicely decorated. Was the only hotel that we booked that actually looked like the picture on the internet! Couch was a bonus! Would definitely recommend it!. Absolutely loved the executive spa bath room we stayed in, was comfortable, elegant and relaxing!! The food at this hotel is amazing words can't describe, worth paying the expense for!! 10/10! It was a comfortable place to stay on our way north. Terry was very welcoming and helpful and so were the staff. This was the best budget room we have ever had. On arrival we were informed they had 2 christmas parties on and thought "oh no we`re gonna hear it all night" but am glad to say we never heard a thing. From start to finish everything was perfect. Had booked a single room for an overnight stay and was delighted when i was given a double instead for the same price. Lovely spacious, comfy room and large bathroom. Food was excellent at both dinner and breakfast and couldn't fault service. the hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, the food was excellent. The hotel was ideally situated for shopping, or dining out.I would definitely stay again and would and have recommended to others. The staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant and if you requested something it was done immediately. The location is ideal and you can walk to the town centre in 5 minutes. Try the restaurant at least one night as it is excellent. Royal suite was lovely and the spa bath in the room was a gorgeous treat. Food was very tasty and large portions too - I never did make it to the sweets!. Everything was fine. The soundproofing needs to be improved. When relaxing in the room, you could clearly hear other guests talking and doors banging in the corridor. Also, there was a really LOUD creaking sound coming from the room above as soon as someone there moved. The latter made me wish that I had a top floor room instead. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like. Not a thing :-). Pillows and mattress were too hard but that is just personal preference. Signage to rooms could be improved, I was in room 34 and constantly lost my way coming and going to reception. It was quite warm in our room which made it uncomfortable for sleeping. Requested a fan but they did not have one. No big deal though, still loved it there!. Nothing. N/A. Nothing. No complaints at all. Nothing. maybe have a little biscuit to go with tea or coffee in rooms. I noticed on the first night of our stay the car park became full, but it seemed as if this was an exception as the rest of our stay there was no problem finding a space. The curtains in the Royal Suite didn't close properly..bit disconcerting when the spa bath is in the bay window space and overlooks the main road. Also the spa bath is the only means of bathing...I would have liked there to be a shower too. We aked three times for someone to look at the heated towel rail in the bathroom (room 20) but it was not fixed. The left hand light above the sink in the bathroom kept going out. There was a gentleman on reception on our ariival and he seemed a little curt and off-hand. Not a complaint, but only a suggestion to travelers. If traveling with larger bags, I would suggest taking a taxi to the hotel from the railway station. Otherwise, the Beaufort Hotel is in convenient walking distance to the Town Centre. N/A. Only downfall I had was the last time I stayed there was no signal on any of the channels to watch some T.V or listen to music. No negative comments. Only a couple of problems with the room which could be easily fixed- the shower cubicle needed a good bleach clean and the radiator in the bathroon needs redone or replaced- kept getting splinters of paint on my feet from the bits falling off the radiator. If anything was the fact we couldn't get wifi in our room but it was available in other parts of the hotel... not much to dislike...if pushed for an answer it would be that the journey to the bedroom involved a labrynth of staircases. Nothing!. A little of from train starion. If tou are carrying lugagge, consider getting a cab instead of walking because it is a hill up way. Some noise on the room and no elevator can also be an issue. Nothing. Apart from the bathroom, the rest of our room was in need of a renovation. the furniture are old and partly worn, the carpet and bed cover had permanent stains. Small thing as we we're chilling im room mostly ideal have liked a bigger tv. That we couldn't stay another night as they were fully booked. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. The view from the bedroom was awful, we were looking on to the roof of the floor underneath and the wall of the building opposite, not very inspiring. No chair in bedroom. Also no lounge for sitting in after dinner. We had to sit in the bar. Nothing. The only fault was a really bad squeaky floor in the room above, we were in the new part room thirty.
