our group loved everything, very friendly very helpful beautiful surrondings, having breakfast is what I miss most background music ,lovely food ,good service dont get that at home. very clean hotel and very clean room .nice staff good organizing at breakfast. was a lovley freindly ,homley feel in the hotel.excellent location. everything about the hotel was excellent.We were greeted by Henry,one of the staff, who helped us in every way,room good ,breakfast good.

The room was comfortable, with a flat screen t.v. and fresh bed linen and towels. I did not have an evening meal, but the breakfast was freshly cooked with an excellent selection and the staff extremely pleasant and efficient. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds, recently refurbished, so a pleasant place to stay - significantly better than the Cedar Court Hotel. Buffet breakfast was good quality. Conveniently situated, with free parking round the corner by the Valley Gardens (free overnight and 3 hours during the day with a parking disc).The service was very good,food was top class esp the Breakfast {very important},The decore was very relaxing and the hotel was nice and clean,And what a lovely old building.in a very good spot. The room was a great size with a very comfortable bed, the room was kept at a very comfortable temperature. A wedding disco was clearly audible from our room until 0100 hrs, but as we were having a late night anyway it did not unduly inconvenience us. Anyone likely to want an early night would be advised to request a room away from that area at weekends, as the noise did not affect rooms at the other side of the hotel where other members of our party were staying.Parking was difficult but not impossible. A bigger car park would be wonderful - but of course this is not possible.The lack of parking was a serious problem, get there early to stand any chance. Rooms were alittle cold, but it was a snowy cold weekend. One room had a very small bathroom.Limited parking at hotel. Check out on Sunday took 45 minutes. leaving. No complaints at all. Very good value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Would come back again.room 362 radiator needs sorting. we bouught a little fan heater once we arrived to keep the bedroom warm. lounge area heating was fine. lack of parking on hotel site. people smoking outside the main entrance and we had to walk through it all the time, this is against current legislation. inadequate parking facilities. Lack of parking. Room was hot and the fire doors were very noisy at night.Lack of car parking spaces. rooms were a bit cold during day - fine in ghe evening.Limited parking - but appreciate this cannot really be changed.It was expensive to pay the local meter rates for two days.
