It was an excellent hotel with good facilities. It is ideal for all types of travellers. good walking distance to the city centre. the room was well presented and of a good size. The layout of the room and facilities contained within it , ie tv , dvd and cd player. The faciltiy of obtaining loaned dvd's fromt he reception was also a good idea.The little touches that made the experience stand out from a usual hotel stay. E.g. bathrobes, light in wardrobe. And the view. The staff were extremely helpful.

Breakfast was lovely - paid extra £3 for room service and well worth it. I enjoyed the facilities in the room and the breakfast. Reception and concierge were very pleasant. Next time I will ask for a river view.Excellent all round central for where we wanted to be child friends rooms very clean, Breakfast was great cattered for all. the rooms all have an imac which is excellent entertainment with complimentary access to internet which was very useful. Travelling via m8 motorway, exit at Junction 19 and follow signs for the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (secc). Proceed towards the main entrance of the secc. City Inn Glasgow is situated on the left approximately 200 yards before the entrance to the secc. Secure, extensive, complimentary car parking is available on site exclusively for hotel guests.

By rail
Both Central and Queen Street Stations are approximately 2 miles, 5 minutes by taxi from City Inn Glasgow. From Glasgow Central Train Station take the exit onto Gordon Street. Turn left and continue to the end of the road (approx 5 mins walk). Turn right onto the Broomielaw (parallel to the River Clyde) and continue along road for approx 10 minutes. City Inn Glasgow is situated on your left hand side.
