On arrival the man on reception was extreamly welcoming and thought the weekend all staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel had a lovely warm cosy feel which the extended into the room. The bed was extremely comfy with extra pillows stored in the room if needed. There were also extra towels and plenty of tea and coffee also supplied in the room. I was slightly worried about noise due to reviews previously read but I can honestly say I didn't hear a thing though the night. Will stay here.

Very friendly staff - clean and comfortable beds/rooms and a good and hearty breakfast the next morning. very friendly reception team, good selection of food for breakfast. great taxi service from deans. We like the location, staff very friendly and helpful, cost is affordable. Simple no fuss reception system. Easy access to Taybarns next door. Friendly and very helpfull staff. Clean and very quiet. The room was cool and very clean. very comfortable room and bed. the bed was very comfortable. Food , beds room ,friendly. Convenience for shopping. Modern & clean room. Freindly welcome. Breakfast was brilliant. Lady at check in (check her out because I saw her interacting with couple in front of me too) she was very very good. She is a credit to Premier Inn. Tell her guy who told her story about paying 55p for 20 cigarettes said so, We checked in approx 1730 on Friday 12th. Special thanks to her. I like the size of room and the reception staff were excellent and very friendly. location was handy for metro centre and 15 mins from town. Friendly helpful staff. Ideally situated for our needs. Staff friendly. Located near job. It was far too hot! The fan just didn't cool the room enough. The Location is an issue if you are not driving, especially if you are travelling by train to the metrocentre station, the bus no 10 drops you off by the roundabout just before the hotel then you have to cross a busy dual carriage way. the noise from the people next door was stupid. didnt get a good nights sleep as promised. The only issue we had was a room booked for two children and two adults was the extra bed was not made up ! we had to set it up. Room located over kitchen cleaning equipment which kept us away upto 11pm. Reported to helpful lady on reception who said she would try and get noise reduced earlier. Confusing roads but thats not the premier inn fault. musty smell in room on entry-mould and mildew spray should be used on window inside slide window,and on bath sides-IT REALLY DOES WORK. Beds were not comfortable at all and I have come home with a slightly sore lower back. beds to soft and woke up with sore backs. Not too keen on the resteraunt. Great at breakfast but could be nicer at other times. Poor ventilation, rooms and corridors were far to hot,the hotel looks very tired and needs refurbishing NOW. This is the first premier inn not to give us an extension lead which I needed for my medical apparatus,this is required as there is no plugs near the bed. No bar inside the hotel. Tired old basic didnt feel clean or fresh.
