    lovely apartment, very homely and well run, good breakfast provided in the aprtment, very helpfull staff, good location, we have a 5 month old boy and we walked to most attractions including the castle, shops nearby including Tesco express for grabbing food for the aprtment but have resturants right on the canal by the aprtment if you prefer. Was ... what people say » very quite at night. - The apartment was fantastic, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the kitchen was stocked with basic essentials. Parking was great too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definately use this apartment/hotel complex again. - The apartment was lovely, and the staff were very helpful, allowing is into our rooms early so that we could get ready for a wedding. I made several calls prior the trip to ensure that we could get a high chair and cot for our baby and the staff remembered me and were very friendly.

    Everything was perfect. The quiet place and the comfortable room with enough space for luggage or relaxing after a whole day out in busy Edinburgh. We loved the location as well, very close to all you want to see in the city or the live shopping areas close to you. The place was really clean and we loved the modern , brightly decorated room. We thought the apartment was well designed, spotless, well furnished and perfect for a short city break. It was very relaxing. The facilities were great, eg cooking and washing etc. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Edinburgh. We would not hesitate to stay there again, it's much better value and more enjoyable than a hotel.

    The staff went out of their way to be helpful when we had a problem with my baby grandson who was ill whilst we were staying at the apartment. There was always staff available even on a Sunday which was unexpected.     The older gentleman working in the reception was a perfect example of hospitality and he also seemed to have a great knowledge of Edinburgh, which he shared generously. As for the room itself, it was very quiet, spacious and had a cool and modern design.     apartment was fantastic, new, good layout, good facilities and amenities. location was ok - a good 20 min walk to the heart of the shopping district and royal mile and quite a walk to a supermarket. Great to have a balcony.Parking a small hassle as none on site and you park up the road. Ok when you are settled but for arriving/departing/ unpacking... what people say » bags from car etc a bit inconvenient. - Brillian!!! Didnt have much dealings with staff but when we did theywere great. Had a problem with the bioler and was fixed almost straightaway - perfect!!! Great value for money.     Loved the apt in general and its close proximity to everything ofimportance in regards to sightseeing and restaurants. Also, they werevery accomodating. Check out was at 1100 but our train didn't departuntil 1700 so we wanted to leave our luggage somewhere and continuetouring the city. It was very spacious - ideal for children. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Edinburgh. The staff went out of their way to assist us and were so helpful. I would thoroughly recommend St Giles Apartments and it is much better value than a hotel if you are travelling with children.

    Very comfortable rooms, great people.During our holidays we had an accident. We accidentally caused a hole in the plasterboard wall. The maintainer came immediately and he did not ruin our holidays, as he came to repair it the day we left.     There is NO better place to stay. The staff is simply wonderful... Especially Harvey! This is the most ideal location.. You are by everything! It made my hop on hop off tour kind of pointless because of the fact you are that close to everything...and the flats were fantastic!! The one on Blair st is updated and a bit modern while the ones on High... what people say » St have more of that historic charm. I stayed an extra day because I enjoyed myself so much. They are very accommodating, helpful, and considerate. - 1) Location for sight-seeing. 2) Facilities included kitchen and washing machine in apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped for its purpose as a travel accommodation. 3) Separate bedroom, so if you travel with someone whose sleep schedule is different than yours, they will not have to wake you up. I don't know how much the company will accommodate your request, such as for a quiet apartment, but they supposedly do have different properties under their management, so it's worthwhile to ask.

    The corridors were quite dark but when my room door was open it was fabulous - I loved the decor of the room, the bathroom was enormous with a fabulous shower and it's got to be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. The staff were great, the lady that sho - The hotel was convenient to both old town and new town areas. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside.

    Great to have so much space. The apartment was very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a great time sitting at the widow "people watching" on the royal mile. A perfect location. would highly recommend it - Easy to get to, extremly comfy, clean and lots of little extras you dont get in a hotel.

    The apartment was modern, spacious and extremely clean, with a huge window overlooking Nicholson street. We relaxed watching the world go by and still the noise wasn't a problem at all. The area has any facility that you might need, and it takes you about 10 min on foot to reach the Royal Mile. Or you might catch a bus, which is just round the cor... what people say » ner. We travelled with our 2 kids aged 7 and 4, they loved going up and down the apartment and we felt safe. - Good location in quiet back street but close to shops and restaurants and not too far from city centre and station. I was initially dismayed to find the apartment is in a Hall of Residence but there was no appreciable noise from the student element of my fellow residents.
