We stayed at Simpson Loan two bedroom apartment! The apartment was fantastic! We loved it so much that we booked with vip apartments for our next stay again! Marc is the best, he really takes care of the guests. I am sure if there is any issue he would do his best to help out! Very good service! Apartment is very new and modern, exactly like in the advertised pictures also located in a very central and beautiful area. You also have a parking facility in the building, that was very convenient fo.

Apartment is very new and modern exactly like in the advertised photos, also located in a very central and beautiful area! You also have parking facility in the building, that was very convenient for us. Sainsbury's is next do. Marc met us on arrival at 19 Simpson Loan and was very welcoming and professional. The apartment was very stylish, immaculate and with all the appliances you'd need on a city break (dishwasher, washer/drier, etc). The decor was beautiful & great showers in the two bathrooms! The location is fabulous, a short stroll to the Royal Mile, 10min from Edinburgh Castle. Loved it & will definitely be back. From booking to check-out everything was fantastic. The apt we booked was perfect size and layout for us and two young children. We were in a great part of New Town, close to everyone we needed (grocery, wine shop, restaurants) and sightseeing. Richard, who was our contact was professional, very friendly and helpful. We would definitely book with them again and recommend them to all our friends. The apartment, it's location and facilities were all excellent. Over 3 floors with it's own secure parking built in. Peaceful, clean, with very friendly owners. Very central but down a lane so quiet at night. I spend a lot of time on the road and have stayed in a lot of different places, but this is my favourite by a long way. I wish I had been there for longer, I'll stay again whenever I can. The facilities are really morden and luxury. Beds are very comfortable that we all have nice dreams. It's definitely worth the money! The surrounding is very convenient. There is a Sainsbury's just around the the corner. And it's very close to the Grassmarket Street where locates many bars, restaurants and special shops. We'll recommend this apartment to our friends. The location was excellent just a 10 min walk from the royal mile and the grassmarket. We were also next to a lovely park which we used often as we had our gran children with us on the trip. Plenty of local shops, cafes and pubs within in minutes from the apartment lovely and quiet. I would use them again. Fantastic apartments, thoroughly good and thoughtful service, the location was superb we could walk everywhere that we had planned to visit and looked forward to getting back 'home' to our apartment at the end of a busy day, just wonderful and so much better than a small cramped hotel room, we loved it.we were shocked at the space, apartment we booked was on 3 floors!! we both had our own bathroom and lovely kitchen with attached dining room, the lviing space we shared had a cute fireplace with plasma tv above it looked really nice,had a great time thank you!. apartment really very up to date, al mod cons very comfortable beds, that cosy you where pushed to go out, good location for pubs and restaurants, spotless clean. mark the manager top guy very very helpful. Overall a top class place, cant wait to go back. Location was fantastic - able to pop back to the apartment for a quick break or to drop things off and also to be able to go out in the evenings and walk back feeling safe. Great location, the 47 Hill Street property is huge and accommodates 4 people very comfortably. Nice and large living room. Last minute break, excellent value for money and Marc was lovely. Location was great we were minutes walk away from everything which helped with parking, however they arranged a parking space for us which saved us a fair bit as the local NCP car park would have charged us £17 per day I think. Apartment was really well turned out and we were surprised at the amount of space given the central location. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us a dinner reservation at a lovely italian restaurant and organised a 10% discount for us. Would definitely return. Modern, clean flat. It's a small thing but would have been nice to have some hand soap in the bathrooms since it's not the sort of thing you would normally travel with. Nothing. All was perfect. I haven't find the hair-dryer. Absolutely nothing.we couldn't find the information pack, but staff was helpful when we spoke with them!. nothing. Admittedly, the apartment was rather warm all the time but that was solved by opening the windows a little!! Also some of the lights didn't work - Floor lamp didn't work, that was all!. better directions needed perhaps due to Edinburgh's one way driving system through many of the city centre streets.nothing. Attitude of car park helper based in Manchester.pots and pans needed replacing.design over function sometimes especially the bathroom sinks. There wasn't enough tea/coffee/milk to have - but other than that, it was great. A shame kitchen on ground floor and living room two floors up- though kept you fit. A TV in the living area beside kitchen would help. Kettle was broken and dishwasher was still full when we arrived, including a broken glass. The oven was very dirty. The overall cleanness was poor. However, nothing tragic or unbereable. Noise coming from the street. Lack of glassware in the kitchen, basic furnishings. Minor issue only - the glazed areas at the lounge sliding door could do with a good clean. Very noticeable when sun shining through here in the morning. Nothing at all. Wifi was really slow but not really a problem for a one night stay!. Only a suggestion but staying for 3 nights, some clean towels, toilets rolls and bin emptying would be appreciated. Would have happily paid more for this. Nothing. Problem getting on to wifi. Beds were a bit small (particularly in the master room). Boiler didn't work for hot water... Could have done with full length mirror in both bedrooms. we were enchanted by the views as shown in the promotional ads, but was given the ground floor right next to a side lane. A mis-representation!. one of the bedroom is just off the main road, so it is noisy when sleeping. the second bedroom mattress was more suitable for children, it wasn't very comfortable. My particular apartment is ready for a refurb, desperately needs painting. Hard to find out location. Hard to access the apt(coz of on the construction around area. nothing. -. There is no service for luggage deposit !!!. Smell in the apartment, think it was the washer. Stunk the whole place out. The heat was far to high, unpleasant and was unable to find the switch to turn it off. Getting out the bath was a challenge also as it was so high, resulted in hurting my leg. mould in bathroom. very little, struggled a bit to light the fireplace but found the switch after calling the 24 hour number provided. Mess up with the booking. Certain things missing in flat, like a plug, no dish cloth, 'complimentary tea and coffee' consisted of 4 instant sachets. Flat slept 5, but only 4 of everything in cupboard, a few little things like that, which if we'd been staying longer might have been annoying. No instructions for appliances, couldn't get the grill working. Poor meet and greet service - no directions given, had to wait an hour and a half for keys Chipped plates and mugs No tin opener! No tea towels, smelly old dishcloth Broken surround sound Poor tv reception Plug not work in bath No cushions for outdoor furniture No furniture at all on second roof terrace.
