Everything was twice as good as would usually be expected from a hotel at this price. Friendly staff. Managable price if booked at the right time on a contracters budget. Plenty of parking. Excellent cleanliness, attention to detail, service and breakfast. Location handy for walking into town. Adequate parking at rear. Nice character to place. Friendly staff, secluded private car parking area, comfortable room with TV, DVD player, mini bar, etc. Nice family-run B&B with reasonable prices.

Everything great. The mini bar in the room is a nice idea. But the prices would put anyone off. I understand a mark-up is to be expected, and the hotel is great value overall. But £1 each for cans and crisps is taking the mickey a bit. Crisps were out of date too!. Roadworks out the front made it more difficult to find our way round the back to park White bread as they had run out of brown at breakfast. I was a bit cold!. Nothing!. Nothing. Its a B&B not a hotel as intimated by letsbookhotel.com. On that basis as a B&B it was good. I am a light sleepr hence why i would not stay in a B&B. The decor was a little dated. Poor quality wardrobes. Single room and shared bathroom - my choice but served my business purpose and was value for money. Had difficulty finding the hotel but eventually got there. Bathroom floor tiles were chilly, even through the bath/shower mats.
