  We really enjoyed our stay, the bar was really busy so I was a bit worried the rooms would be noisy. When we were shown to our rooms they were lovely, clean and spacious. You could not hear the bar at all. All the staff were lovely and very friendly. The beds were very comfortable, I suffer with chronic back pain so a comfy bed is the first thing ... what people say » I look for. My little boy loved the fact the the beds were sleigh beds, just like "Santa". The food was also very good, we had a full English with lot - Breakfast was very decent with quality local produce used (in the lovely courtyard restaurant). Room was very comfortable and peaceful; considering on quite a busy street and with pub downstairs. 9 month old boy slept perfectly in nice clean cot- helped by the excellent blinds behind the curtains blocking out any light. Staff friendly and polite without being OTT. I may just return myself for a pint when next out that way on cycling jaunt. Cheers!

  Extremely helpful and friendly staff especially in restaurant. Wonderful breakfast. Loved the new toast bags - and hot x buns on offer on Sunday! Reception was closed when we arrived around 10pm on our first night but staff helped us with car space and keys. Lovely sea view - Room 17 - and thoughtfully laid out with everything we needed. Next visi... what people say » t, I will adopt a lion! Nice touch. To understand more, you will need to visit. You won't be disappointed! Thank you for a great 2 day stay. - The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and definitly 4 star. We loved the location on the sea front. The food was excellent and when they heard it was our anniversary decorated our table for that evening.
