On the edge of Rowen, one of the Conwy Valley's most delightful villages, the Tir y Coed is within the boundaries of the Snowdonia National Park. The far-reaching views from Rowen extend to the magnificent mountains beyond. The medieval walled town of Conwy is just 4 miles away, as is the coast. The house has many large windows, filling it with a warm, bright and welcoming light. All of the bedrooms are beautifully appointed and individually designed, with luxurious fabrics and attention to detail ensuring that each room becomes the perfect retreat. All rooms have a TV, refreshment tray, clock radio and an immaculate en suite bathroom or shower room.

Absolutley everything. Alan and Ian were welcoming, beyond helpful. They made us feel very at home and their attention to detail, warmth and their personal touch changed what could have been a lovely weekend into a fabulous one!!. The hosts, Alan and Ian, were extremely friendly and made you feel at homeimmediately. I cannot recommend this venue enough... Excellent!!. everything wonderful thanks to Alan and Ian who are the perfect hosts - we wil definately be returning!.

Information about the area

Tir-y-Coed is a prefect centre for touring Snowdonia and visiting the North Wales coastal resorts and the sandy beaches of Anglesey. The area abounds in things to do and see, ranging from pre-historic sites, castles and stately homes, slate and copper mines and narrow gauge railways to unspoiled countrysideand formal gardens - the National Trust's Bodnant Garden is only about three miles away. For the active, there is within easy reach golf, pony trekking, water sports, sea and fresh water fishing, a dry ski slope, climbing and walking, including numerous walks starting from the hotel.
