  Very relaxing atmosphere. Liked the bungalow idea for the rooms. Fantastic suites for the function side of the business. We were attending a function and the room, table layout and decoration together with the staff and catering were to a very high standard. - Great Location, efficient staff, clean, comfortable room and good facilities.   A very nice hotel set in a beautiful location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Gym and spa excellent. Food excellent. Room was massive and very comfortable. Only complaint was what I thought was a double bed was actually two stuck together and I only noticed that when I rolled over in bed and the shower was very weak and not power... what people say » ful enough. All things considered a very nice hotel and I will definitely stay again when I am in this area on business. - For our needs the quiet, rural location was lovely. Nice to stay in an independently run hotel instead of the usual formulaic chain of hotels. The views across the fairway was beautiful. The use of the swimming pool etc was an added bonus which we took advantage of. The staff were very accommodating. Breakfasts were fine again with excellent service. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to re-book at the Shaw Hill Hotel.
