  Food was hearty and really tasty. The breakfast was cooked fresh and was piping hot and the staff were relaxed and not clock watching which made a nice change! The evening meal menu was a mix of traditional pub favourites and additional quirky dishes all very tasty and well presented. We found the pub atmosphere very friendly aswell as being popular with the locals. Good p - I liked the very thoughtful touches - the good supply of decent coffee, the supply of toiletries, the dressing gowns and slippers. I like the fact the hotel was very quiet and I liked the garden. I liked the tasteful decor. There is a good ambience. I felt as if I'd had a restful stay somewhere lovely. The breakfast was good too. I liked the fact that there was no problem with parking. I was visiting Bath and parking is a nightmare so I decided to stay at the Northey and have no hassle.

  Graham and Teresa offered a wonderful welcome (so did Alfie the dog!). The setting is beautifully tranquil with a delightful garden in which to enjoy your book and friendly cows in the neighbouring field! Graham's full English breakfast was superb, the room was spotless with a lovely big bathroom and comfortable bed. The use of the little kitchen ... what people say » is an added bonus. Would thoroughly recommend the Barn House - we'll definitely be back. - Comfortable facilities, good bed, excellent shower, quiet location but you need a car to access. Friendly hosts, good breakfast although served at communal table with guests from the other two rooms. Short drive to excellent food at local hotel, and handy convenience store and atm at service station. Shared kitchen facilities /fridge could be useful if staying a bit longer than our brief visit. Garden is very nice

  This is the first time I've ever stayed in B&B and I would say I am quite satisfied with my choice. They were very friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the view around the house and I think that Box is as beautiful as any other cotswold village. I would recommend this place to any Korean acquaintances. - The breakfast was excellent! The room was very comfortable and the owners were friendly. It made me feel good staying there.There are DVDs available and you can borrow any from the owner and enjoy yourself in your room. Very quiet and close to nature definitely a good place to get away from the city! It takes only 15 mins drive to Bath but you might need to take bus or call cab if you dont have a car.

  We had such a lovely stay at the Trimnells House. The owners were so kind and hospitable! They even went out of their way to make us breakfast early one morning when we had to catch a flight. The room was beautiful, cozy, and perfect for a family of 4. The breakfast was delicious! We loved the town of Colerne, our visit to Bath, and Castle Combe w... what people say » as just beautiful. Loved it and would definitely love to stay again!! - After a very long day exploring Bath we arrived quite late and tired, but we were welcomed like old friends, made to feel very much at home. The room was tastefully decorated , clean and spacious. breakfast was excellent and even a request for extra toast was met with a friendly smile. The gardens are classic english cottage style and add to the restful atmosphere. Just a great place to stay.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Midway Place. The accommodations were modern and clean. Nita was a perfect hostess. She was very friendly and helpful, giving us great suggestions for finding pubs to eat dinner. The pub right next door was cozy, convenient, and had excellent food.
