Food was hearty and really tasty. The breakfast was cooked fresh and was piping hot and the staff were relaxed and not clock watching which made a nice change!
The evening meal menu was a mix of traditional pub favourites and additional quirky dishes all very tasty and well presented. We were arrived late in the evening, due to the distance of our journey, but the staff were very welcoming and attentive.
We found the pub atmosphere very friendly aswell as being popular with the locals.

I liked the very thoughtful touches - the good supply of decent coffee, the supply of toiletries, the dressing gowns and slippers. I like the fact the hotel was very quiet and I liked the garden. I liked the tasteful decor. There is a good ambience. I felt as if I'd had a restful stay somewhere lovely. The breakfast was good too. I liked the fact that there was no problem with parking. I was visiting Bath and parking is a nightmare so I decided to stay at the Northey and have no hassle.
The welcome was really nice, staff were excellent, Room was very clean with great choice of drinks, Evening meal selection was good and tasted even better, Also had best breakfast ever had at any hotel or b@b.Thanks for a great stay, will be back asap.
The location of the Northey was perfect for exploring the beautiful
villages surrounding Bath. The welcome from Michael was excellent. The
food was very good. The accommodation is kept very clean and the bed was
exceptionally comfortable.
Lovely hotel and pub, staff so friendly and helpful. Had dinner in the restaurant which was traditional home made food and really nice. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area again and would recommend.
The food was amazing and loved all the candles lit around the pub area, it made it feel very cosy and because we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. It just added that special touch.

Everything was great. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely room, clean and nicely furnished. Food was really good and overall a really nice place to relax after busy days in Bath.

Myself and my girlfriend had a wonderful time at the Northey Arms. The staff where freindly and the room was fantasic cant wait to return.
The Northey Arms was just brilliant the room was fantastic and the bar and dining area was second 2 none will definitely b going back.
Very comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast, coffee machine, hair-dryer and iron in the room, a short drive to Bath city centre.

Nothing. I thought it was great.
The room was a little on the small side for anything longer than a
couple of nights. We stayed in room 4 and we could hear music from the
bar well into the early hours. Whilst the bathrooms are beautiful we
would recommend in order to raise the mark that the towels should be
bigger, they were a bit on the skimpy side. Also supply face cloths.
If I had to find 1 fault it would be the room is a little small but I would still return.
The only thing I could say I didn't like was that our room was on the small size. However this wasn't a really problem for just the one night stay.
Nothing really, road a little noisy and vegetarian menu could be a little improved as a bit repetitive (goat's cheese which I can't eat on 2 out of 3 dishes) but nitpicking now!

only one negative and that was the lighting in the bathroom which is on a movement sensor and so the light turned off while I was in the shower, so left standing in the dark.
Very close to quite a busy road (probably some rooms worse than others).Breakfast starts too late for a business traveler (8am). Staff efficient but not especially friendly perhaps?.
Property is close to the main street which the overnight vehicle is noisy, can't receive wifi in my room :(.

No bath.
Not enough choice on the menu. The food came to fast on the first evening.
The road noise is terrible, it is one if the main trunk roads and
traffic starts at 0530 and finally slows at 2300, so do not expect a
lie in!! The Main issue is the hotel is a period property and does not
have double glazed windows to irradicate the traffic noise. Only has on
some windows the old fashioned inner single glaze, which does damper
the noise but if u wish to lie in beyond 0530 I would not recommend
staying here.
Lacked attention to small details.No serving spoons at Breakfast and nasty residue round necks of sauce bottles.Quite expensive.
Booked superior double expecting balcony as on picture when booked but had room on road which was very noisy. Beautiful bathroom but when you took a shower it flooded the floor! Towels way too small!.
