Staff friendliness and professionalism. Leisure facilities complimentary. We were the only ones in there so had pool, sauna and jacuzzi to ourselves. There was no one in the gym either - shame we were only there 1 night. Excellent breakfast. Recommend and would stay there again. Cheaper than travelodge and breakfast included. Single room was fine for purpose of overnight stay. Leisure facilities although not used looked exceptional and i must allow mself more time next visit. Breakfast was great.
all reviews » The leisure facilities were excellent, ample breakfast, friendly staff and though I booked a single room their was a double bed and plenty of space. I have stayed there many times and have always it good . Under the present owners and management I think it is even better than before.The nice breakfast that was served up every morning! The rooms were lovely and clean, comfy bed. Room cleaned on first day!. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice to have restaurant in the evening.cleaness and staff very helpful and friendly. Quite room. We went to the beach each day to relax, went out for meals which were only a few minutes walk away. Using the leisure facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Would have like to have had dinner. Nice lounge area,good breakfast,close to town. good position, nice pool, good dining room.All staff smiled and appeared happy. The pool and sauna area was lovely. Being an older hotel there was some noise from late night revellers returning to their rooms - and they were masons!!!! Noise was short lasting. I prefer a bath to a shower but for one night a shower is fine.Parking space was limited had to park on the road for three nights when adertised on site parking. Noise central heating. Hotel receptionist very casual welcome. No entertainment over a bank holiday week end. the only complaint i have is that while on my way home i had a phone call from somebody at the hotel claiming that i had not paid my bill when in fact i had paid it at 0710 that morning. Nobody from the hotel has bothered to call me back with any sort of an apology for the incorrect allegation. I Think this is rather rude and not very good for customer relations. Banging heating pipes in room and off milk in tea making facility in room. noise throughout the night - possibly from outside. The room where we stayed had a constant whirring noise all through the night which kept us awake alot.Ancient plumbing creaked and knocked all night/also TV next door too loud. It might be quite old since you can feel the springs on the bed. But,doesn't bother me so much , I slept ok.Room was very small and really hot, TV only had 2 channels, parking was limited. Room was tired and could have been improved without a lot of expenditure. Mini-bar would be nice. Hot water slow and only just hot enough to not require cold for a bath. Bathroom door was undesirable.No. However, the distance from the hotel to the BIC is more than 10 minutes by walking for an average person like me. Lighting in room not very good around the desk area.layout of room. bar very noisy due to party going on in room next door.Noisy central heating. Helpful Staff. On both nights we stayed there, there was a wedding reception and patyand the following night a birthday party. Our room was directl above therooms werethis was being held, so if you had wanted a quiet night, youwould not have got it. Maybe need a mention on the website that parking is minimal. we were told there were towls down at the poolside and we couldnt see were they were. this didnt ruin our vist though and we will be back. Front desk staff were not very receptive when we arrived, and carried on a private conversation rather than serve us. The towels were very thin and the water pressure in the room was very low. noise from disco on the fri eve and the dinner dance on the sat the music was very loud in my bedroom also pity about the T.V.in the bar . only one lift.

The hotel advises that spa treatments are booked in advance, especially at weekends or other peak times. Please note that this property cannot accommodate hen and stag, or similar parties. Our car parking is free, on a first come first served basis. We request all guests to enter their car registration into the tablets provided at the front desk, along with the number of days staying. This is due to our car park being monitored by a parking management company. A security deposit of GBP 50 is required on arrival. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
