The pool was really nice and the jacuzzi. There was lots of little places to sit and relax. The staff were really nice and accomodating especially Mark from reception who was very helpful with our rooms as we had two small children. the room was clean and spacious, staff were excellent especially James, lady on desk was also excellent and very helpfull, we will come to your hotel again, thank you and your staff.

Had to leave my bedroom window open for fresh air.no hot water for the shower or sink. The corridors were extremely warm but better warm than cold.nothing at all. the leisure facilities were a little dated, we found the pool rather shallow to have a good swim. we booked a double room and got a family room, bit cramped for just the 2 of us. room a bit cold. I felt the entertainment was poor!!. unable to have an evening meal.shower could be better. It was quite hot in there but not sure if that is a complaint really, it was freezing outside!!. the noise that was outside our window all night and the breakfast. It was too hot and it smelt funny, oh and the carpets need a quickchange cos, damn!!. Brekfast served too late, pool opening hours limited, very limited car parking. They upset me by have ing room what smelt like human feaces.

Your daily dining experience starts with a full breakfast (08:00 until 09:30). Bar snacks are available between 11:30 and 23:30. Your evening meal is taken from the table d'hôte menu (17:30 until 19:30), which is prepared by the kitchen team, headed by Mr Steven Glover. All dishes are prepared from as much local fresh produce as possible. The Doric Hotel also cater for all types of dietary requirements (inform reception when booking, or on arrival) and have a children's menu. The bars are fully stocked with beers and spirits from around the world, and a wine list to complement the menus.

Enjoy the indoor pool area with sauna, spa and steam room, and the outdoor pool area with log cabin sauna. The sun conservatory features a large sun bathing patio which is open daily during the summer months. There is also a games room, with a pool table and many arcade-style games.

Please note, the first child can stay free of charge when sharing with two full paying adults. Any additional children under the age of 12 are charged at GBP 30.00 per day. If applicable child supplements will be added to your final bill at the hotel and are not included in the price of this booking process. A baby cot is available upon request only and with management approval. Cots are available for free for children aged 2 years of younger.

From the M6:
- Take junction 32 onto the M55.
- Exit the M55 at junction 3 and turn right at the roundabout, signposted to Fleetwood (A585).
- At the first set of lights, turn left following signs for Blackpool.
- At the next set of lights, go straight ahead following signs for Blackpool (A586).
- At the first roundabout, turn right signposted to Fleetwood (A587).
- Continue over the railway bridge then turn left at the lights signposted Promenade (B5265).
- Continue forward at the roundabout. At the next roundabout, turn right onto the promenade.
- We are approximately 0.5 miles on the right

By Train:
We are situated approximately 1.5 miles from Blackpool North railway station.
